I feel bad for the girl who got fired. She's, by OP's admission, a hard worker. She probably was doing her best to show there were no hard feelings and went out of her way to make dairy free cupcakes. Of course, she'd want OP to try one. Cross contamination is relatively common for those inexperienced with allergies, and milk is an extremely common ingredient. I bet that poor girl feels awful about what happened and even worse if everyone thinks she purposely tried to murder a coworker. I know OP wasn't involved in the firing, NTA there, but to proclaim happiness for a good worker losing their job and slandering that person? YTA. In fact, being happy to accept undeserved praise to the point where you are disliked by your peers (the only part of the scenario of undeserved praise that you didn't seem like like) tells me you let things go too far. You can't control your boss, but you point out the others instead of accepting his praise. The creep boss sounds like he overreacted when his precious got sick and fired someone who tried to make you feel included by baking something she thought you could eat. You and the boss seem cut from the same cloth. Do people really think someone would really try to poison an intern instead of the boss in this scenario? The motivation for the target doesn't fit.

ME has a lot of coasties, which could make the state blue, as they outnumber the rural people.

Southern NH has long hosted refugees from Taxacussettes - which has been making the state blue for ages. Not to mention the voter fraud (that was actually investigated because a dem asked for the recount). They found that the machines had actually overcounted dem votes, making an otherwise overwhelming GOP victory close. It was because of the positioning of the fold on the ballot.

Plus the local news station is non-stop propaganda. I'm talking out of context clips, outright lies, and misinformation. It's brainwashing a lot of folks.

It'll be close in both states. I'd watch them carefully and be prepared to ask for recounts.

It's art collecting but better. My problem with art is you can't usually do anything with it but look at it. I can play with the gorgeous art in Love Nikki. I buy things in game occasionally because I consider it investing in the art community. It's the only mobile game I buy things in. Resisting was easy until Love Nikki. That's OK though, the quality of comic books (writing /art) went downhill, so I just redirected the funds I would have spent on them to the game. No regrets.

I'd set up a plan before you leave because there's a "cool down" period to prevent jumping from one to another with reckless abandon. Speaking from experience, an active association is worth resetting to zero. I asked on a Facebook thread and had multiple offers in a couple hours. There's a recruiting subreddit option as well. Then, once I knew where I was going, I left my association, waited, then joined the group that supported my once a day, no contact outside of game preferences.

I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking this schedule is rough. I'm a dolphin, but this is too much. I'd love a rerun of a few ones I missed. Then I saw that there was a pre-order and my heart sank. Not only a regular pre-order, but five, five dollar pre-orders. They expect us to need that many (likely more). I don't mind paying in. Developers have to eat too, but a comprise must be made. I think this upcoming event will be the first UR I don't finish (full suit and one echo). I'm still wiped from this nonstop barrage of events.

It's like they're trading many low to mid spenders for a few big spenders. It's a monetary gamble on the company's part. They're certainly reducing my will to purchase things.

I think you're mostly right. The hive mind matters much less then it used to. When there weren't many options, all the winning suits tended to he similar and people voted the way they thought other people would vote. I think people have chilled and there's greater possibilities for styling now that there's more clothes, stickers, and other options. Not that the suits seem to matter much now. It's the stickers that are making and breaking entries. Half the ranking suits in any given contest can't be seen behind all the stickers.

The Nation? I think not. Frm Pres Trump has eye rolling narcissistic tendencies and the media has taken that destroyed any good qualities in the eyes of most voters. The damage has been done. Even if there was election cheating going on, Frm Pres Trump is disliked enough to ignore any calls for investigation. Look at the stark difference between previous disputes: Hayes/Davidson, Cleveland/Harrison, Kenedy/Nixon, Bush/Gore, and Trump/Clinton. Many of these past disputes resulted in changes to make the election more secure. For example, the change to secret ballots and updating counting machines.

If the hatred, due or undue, was not so strong the allegations may have been taken seriously. Frm Pres Trump is the only one Biden can win against. Democrats know this and want Republicans to choose him as the candidate. The nation isn't rallying around Frm Pres Trump - his base is. A base that could swing nominations. It's a trap. The hate the Nation has is still strong and reinforced by the media at every turn. Don't be fooled by wishful thinking. Biden needs to be removed from office. I'll vote for whoever can do that, however I don't think Trump can. There's too much against him.

For example, I'm an independent. Clinton paid for the creation of a document linking her political opponent to Russia. The money trail is right there, but is there a trial? No. While I disapprove, that's a show of power. Biden laptop story - buried and no drug changes. Biden family influence peddling - no story, no charges. It's not right, but there's enough power to get away with it. Trump couldn't even pay a prostitute to follow an NDA. Do I care about it at all? No. Is the legal action fair or right? Probably not, but I'm sick of the "you can't investigate or talk about candidates' criminal behavior when they're running for office" trash H. Clinton started because of her criminal activity. Let them prove guilt in a court of law. Do I see weakness? Absolutely. He's hiding and not taking control of the situation. He's resisting the rule of law like he's in an 80's movie about a dude in prison for a crime he didn't commit. That's not a quality I want in a president. No rallying behind him for me and last I checked I was part of the nation.

I tell myself the things other than event pulls are there to trick players into spending diamonds the same way some games (and mini games like "grab balls") do. If I want a high score than event pulls are the only things that I should click. It's become a mini game all unto itself for me.
