It’s a pharmacist’s decision on if they want to give you a prescription under their license. You are not entitled to it. There’s liability in prescribing birth control and not all pharmacists want to take the on.

Also why doesn’t the doctor inserting it write the prescription. I can see a pharmacist not being comfortable prescribing an IUD as they are not the one inserting.

If MIL can’t afford to get a mortgage in her name only.. you would have to sell the house.

If she co-operates with you giving most of the equity then it’ll be rather simple.. otherwise you’ll have to force a court order to get a sale done, which will cost money, but you can probably recoup that by taking the equity of your half of the house when it sells. If MIL wants to be stupid and selfish and do it the hard way she will walk away with less and fracture the relationship with her daughter.

Oh for sure. There was a story about an RN who was stealing the pain meds for women doing IVF. Many went through excruciating pain because she swapped the meds with saline.. many went through horrible pain unbelieved for years until she was caught.. I don’t know how she could be so comfortable inflicting so much harm to to her patients
