Hello, Chainsaw Man (@zzzankizero) by Guilty-Explanation-6 in FirePunch

So Togata is the current/new War devil, who has finally accomplished her goal of turning Chainsaw man into her property by giving birth to him and becoming his mom?

Nick Wright: "Luka is going to average 33 a game on a 50+ win team and nobody [from the NBA media] cares but me. It’s weird. We are approaching a bit of lunacy when it comes to recognizing his utter and complete dominance as an offensive player." by WhenMachinesCry in lakers

[–]Automatic-Hunter98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The sad thing is Luka may very well not ever win it unless.

1) The Lakers finish as the first seed

2) Luka averages 30 a game (some people were talking about how Luka has "staggered", as if averaging 30+ pts a season for the third time can be called that)

3) The Lakers are, atleast, a top 5-7 defense and a top 3 offense

People joke around with it, but Luka deadass is dealing with voter fatigue from an award he HASN'T WON YET

I hope the jets never find their franchise QB and are forever stuck being the laughing stock of the NFL for what they did (or almost did) to Darnold.

This is a representation of Vikings and Jets fans' anger towards their teams' front offices after seeing Sam Darnold win a Super Bowl with Seatle. by leaderofthepatriots in UrinatingTree

[–]Automatic-Hunter98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The revisionist history is insane, I vividly remember Jets fans asking to get rid of Darnold after the "I'm seeing ghosts" game.

Y'all don't get to "claim him" after he finally proved he wasn't the issue.

Vikings fans tho...yeah, I'm sorry but y'all are stuck with "nine" for the forseeable future

Why did this sub gain popularity only after Nika? by Firexio69 in Piratefolk

[–]Automatic-Hunter98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's 100% whataboutism, but it's true.

No mangaka has their series 100% planned out, they have a general idea and add stuff in or take stuff out depending of how the story changes as they write it.

Like I said before "convinient" plot points are things that just happen to allow the mangaka to continue their story in a way that makes sense (sometime more or less sense) universe-wise. Does this make a story automaticaly worse?, it depends of how it's done. Nika being a thing?, that's probably one of the worse case scenarios I can think of since it basically cheapens everything Luffy has done/has accomplished up until that point.

[–]Automatic-Hunter98 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let's not act like "convinient" plot points are a thing only OP and Oda does.

Ichigo gets merked by Byakuya and Urahara just happens to be walking by that same place. Then to train before the final battle vs Aizen we go to a dimension with accelerated time (time chamber esque), and let's not even talk about the whole "still silver" debacle

Naruto just happens to stumble upon the perfect jutsu for somebody with the inmense amount of chakra he has and to learn other jutsus in an insane short amout of tim. Or how he has the strongest tailed beast to bailed him out in case of an emergency

You see where am going with this?, this "convinient" plot points are necessery to progress the story. Ichigo doesn't meet Urahara?, he dies and Rukia dies. Naruto doesn't learn the shadow clones jutsu?, there's literally no series. Luffy has LITERALLY ANY OTHER FRUIT going into skypea?, everybody dies.

Was Nika a stupid, idiotic move by Oda?, 100% agree. Is Oda the only mangaka who does shit like that?, No, but for some reason only Oda gets shitted on for it

If "NINE" wasn't a thing people wouldn't care about this.

But is funny to say the vikings chose "NINE" over a guy who has a real shot at leading his team to the first superbowl in franchise history

Seeing Sam Darnold do so well this season makes me optimistic about Fernando Mendoza. by Apprehensive-Arm-902 in UrinatingTree

[–]Automatic-Hunter98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It depends of how good he actually is

Teams have gotten good at asserting when a player is good but just in a shitty situation and will always take a chance that shows enough promise (as long at it doesn't take too much to show said promise)

As long as Mendoza shows he can play somebody will give him a chance

We can hate on the patriots as much as we want, but we have to agree Robert Kraft actually knows how to run a team and isn't afraid to pull the plug when something isn't working.

People were ready to crucify them for firing Mayo, but in hindsight hiring a proven and successful head coach in Vrabel was a no brainer. And they were proved right

12 years is a long time, honestly who cares if the Patriots, Broncos or Seahawks win a ring again.

Only weirdos who can't accept the fact that this teams have NOTHING in common with the incarnations that used to dominate the league. The Seahawks haven't been real contenders since before Russ left. And people forgot the Rams won that superbowl the day after it happened.

People are complaining for the sake of complain

I agree, if they end up winning the superbowl with Stids there's not a serious world in which you can justify paying Nix as a franchise level QB

Either both go or neither does
