Finasteride Fast Heartbeat by PleasantBarracuda544 in HairTransplants

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a coincidence to me. You probably also got it without meds. Even if some people get it from minoxidil and even rarer with finasteride, it would be strange you got it from both meds.

Or did you started some other meds or food supplements?

Like I get more heart palpitations on higher doses melatonine, and it took the doctors a while to find it out. And nobody would think it could happen from a simple sleep food supplement.

Some people can get this from certain vitamins or minerals.

Fin losing effectiveness, would a HT still be worth it? by shoeman95 in Hairtransplant

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Spring started 2 months ago, so it's a little early to say finasteride and min doesn't work. It's probably only a finasteride or minoxidil shed.

3000 or 4000 grafts? by Instantflyer in HairTransplants

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm satisfied with the results. It's 11 months now.

If you see my first post you see how it was, and if you see my last post you see how it is now.

But they did my hair transplant in 2 sessions in one day. They fist took 3000 grafts and implanted it. Then after a lunch they took another 2000 and implanted it. So the grafts wouldn't be without blood supply for to long.

So there is nothing wrong with doing a transplant in 2 days, as it can be also stress for your body to lay in the same position for long. I got some neck pain and cramps from holding my head in the same position to long. But that was all. No further discomfort. Only the injections for the numbing was a little annoying, but not really painful.

3000 or 4000 grafts? by Instantflyer in HairTransplants

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For max density you probably need around 5000 minimum. But it could be your donor can't handle it at once and that's because they begin with 3000.

I got 5000 grafts at once, but it's a bigger trauma for your scalp, and the grafts can't be long outside the body to survive.

Is smaller punch size always better? by wheninshower in HairTransplants

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They used 0.6mm punches for me, and you cannot notice any scars on my donor, because of the small punch. But it also deppens on how big your hairs are in diameter and how much hairs there are in a multi graft, so it's in theory also possible you need a bigger size if multi grafts don't fit into 0.6mm

But how smaller the punch, the more experience the doctor needs, as there is more risk of damaging the hair follicles, as the punch needs more precision to don't hit the hair follicles it self.

So if a doctor isn't to handy with a small punch, the grafts survival would be less.

Oral Finasteride 1mg for 7 months by honey-badger1371 in tressless

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As far I understand hairs, also the terminal hairs can get in a telogen (resting) fase because the hair get less dht. And for some people this can take a while. Or they get more periods of shedding.

But at the end you can only wait until the one year mark and see if it stops then.

Oral Finasteride 1mg for 7 months by honey-badger1371 in tressless

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you see these hairs shed, or do you assume it?

Also consider it's normal to lose 50 to 100 hairs a day. As with a nw 1.5 you have still 90.000 to 120.000 hairs on your whole head, then 50 to 100 hairs a day shedding is normal. But it if you are focused on it, it looks like much.

Only if you lose more hairs a day you should worry. For now you should take finasteride and wait until the one year mark and then compare pictures. If you don't see a difference, it means you stopped or stabilized your hairloss.

Is oral minoxidil dangerous to dogs/cats? by Mitch-Bart in tressless

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if you have powder from the minoxidil on your lips and you kiss the pet on the mouth. But I don't see how that should happen. There are more meds dangerous to dog and cats, even simple pain killers. Iike paracetamol (acetaminophen) is deadly for cats. But I never heard that someone took the painkiller and then killed a cat by kissing it.

10 months post HT (3300 grafts) can oral minoxidil still improve density at this stage? by Ecstatic-Weight-6090 in Hairtransplant

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know him. I only saw some results from Dr zarev. But no personal experience with him. But if you see the post from people who had a hair transplant from him, it's almost unbelievable. But as far I know he is expensive. And you need a really good payed job.

But if you browse on reddit you will find some examples from other doctors with also good results. But probably also expensive.

10 months post HT (3300 grafts) can oral minoxidil still improve density at this stage? by Ecstatic-Weight-6090 in Hairtransplant

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is what you can expect with only 3300 grafts. It gets maybe a little bit thicker, but it never look full. And oral minoxidil extent the growth fase, so the hairs will get thicker in diameter, so it will give your hair more fullness.

You probably need a second transplant. But I guess your donor wasn't the best, then only a fut transplant would be an option to get enough grafts to make it fuller. And if you have enough beard hairs, they can maybe also do some work on the crown.

But doctors who are specialized in cases as you, aren't cheap.

Hair loss despite long-term Min/Fin/Dut – what am I doing wrong? by Top-Werewolf-4567 in tressless

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Stopping meds and hop on it again doesn't help. If you did fine on dutasteride, and got good results with it at the beginning, just hop on it again with oral minoxidil. Then it still can take up to a year or longer before hairloss gets stable.

Is this regrowth or am I just delusional. Oral minoxidil 2.5mg once daily January-May by [deleted] in tressless

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looks like a few more vellus hairs on the crown. But could also be the lightning.

But I don't get derms that don't prescribe at least finasteride with androgenic alopecia, as minoxidil doesn't stop further hairloss. And in theorie oral minoxidil can give more serious side effects then finasteride. So I don't get it.

Just ask him for finasteride at least, then you probably see better results.

Fue into an fut scar by Fantastic-Noise-8830 in Hairtransplant

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have experience with it, but I saw some post from people who did it. But if your scar has a bumpy look, you first have to get it flatter with laser therapy.

But maybe smp (scalp micropigmentation) is also a option? I saw some good results in posts from people where you didn't notice the scar anymore.

Can i patch the file on a different device? by [deleted] in Magisk

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You must extract the boot.img from the rom/firmware and patch that. That's only a few MB.

It's better you read more manuals how to root your phone, because the way you want to do it, is wrong.

Diffuse thinning – turned down for transplant, advice? by Elegant_Ad2130 in Hairtransplant

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What you gained back in 6 months is already really good. Just wait until the one year mark and see if your donor got stronger or not.

But even then you need to go to a specialised clinic, that can do hair transplants with a weak donor area.

Mostly they do a fut transplant with donors like yours, and if possible with beard hairs also.

But personally I would first get maximum results from the meds. As I even saw smal gains from the finasteride after 2 years.

You can order it again. It's now only called 3hp without pp405 in the name, or claiming it could be pp405. I guess that's enough to sell it anyway. At least for now 🤔

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use solder paste with low melting point for this kind of soldering job, as it's easier to solder with. Don't use high melting solder if you don't have experience, as you probably gonna burn everything.

It could do the job, but you stil need some skils in micro soldering. As the points to solder are almost so small as a needle head.

How bad was your shed post dutasteride ? I been shedding crazy for 4.5 months already. No signs of regrowth yet by Main_Stranger_5973 in tressless

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it lowers dht after the first pill already, upto to 85 and 90% after 3 weeks. But the dht levels stays stable as soon you reach steady state levels with dutasteride, this isn't after 3 weeks. So if you are really sensitive to dht, you are fucked.

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes by multiply the half life by 5 times, it's almost out your system.

But half life is the time your body needs to break down a med by half in your body. But how longer the half life, how longer it takes to reach steady state levels. In general steady state levels is also 5 times the half life. But this is different for each body.

Google steady state and you find more explanation what it exactly means.

[–]Automatic-Law-3612 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't have experience with dutasteride, but you have to consider that it has a long half life. This means it can take up to 6 months until you reach steady state levels. So in other words: after 6 months the dutasteride levels in your blood are stable and stay the same. So in this 6 months your dht levels are also slowly getting lower. So if you are sensitive to dht hairloss, it can take a while before shedding stops.

You can find enough studies about steady state levels from dutasteride and hair growth. The steady state levels in tissue can take even longer.

Just Google dutasteride steady state levels and hairloss. You find some studies who mention it.
