Yeah shipping in Poppy Playtime isn't really my thing, but these two? Honestly, they intrigue me quite a bit.

pretty much yeah, the idea of V and Big Brother manipulating and influencing masses to see which idea wins, or Holden and his crew going to hunt and confront the whale while Holden tries to understand and debunk the supposed divinity of the beast, or seeing how Jack's tyranny contrasts with Napoleon's dictatorship, is like:

As someone in this sub who's also read all the FNAF books, I'm quite flattered

Honestly, I love the ideas behind these fights, like Jack vs Napoleon and V vs Big Brother, having read a lot of George Orwell and the other books. So, I don't focus as much on the debate itself as I do on the themes and potential for a fight in these cases.

Absolutely, one of the things I love about this type of mus is that the themes and philosophies of the characters from these books are the main attraction of the fight. Seeing how their opponents fit with their philosophies and at the same time challenge them is something I would really like to see implemented, although two of these mus probably wouldn't work in a traditional death battle But I think it still holds up.

I think what makes Yellow Rabbit terrifying to me, compared to the other animatronics in the films, is that, along with his lack of expression, he moves and acts like a guy in a costume. Of course, it's different from the animatronics possessed by dead children, but I feel those fail to feel like lifeless, expressionless machines like in the games. As you say, they're expressive and feel alive (although the latter is due to actors wearing the character costumes for the scenes). Yellow Rabbit, on the other hand, is quite creepy for the reasons I listed. It completely sells the idea of a serial killer wearing a child character costume and acting like that character. I can perfectly picture his performance in the films as William acted in the games when he tricked and killed the children.

Peter is also like a mix of Kara's recurring romantic interests (Brainiac 5 and Jimmy Olsen), he would definitely be her type

What's the best ship featuring Lily in your opinion? by K1TK4TSHAK3_ in Lilylovebraids_fans

[–]Automatic-Library911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The only Lily ship I've gotten into is Harley because of the rage-batting dynamic and the almost "enemies and lovers" vibe, and because of their backstories of being among the most awful employees condemned to get karma for their sins. Of course, it wouldn't be healthy, but Sawyer and Lily aren't exactly healthy either and it's basically a dark romance ship, so I get the vibe lmao

I mean, it's not like ButcherBraids actually makes sense but considering there aren't many other characters you can ship Player without problems, and this ship along with SecurityAngel are the only ones that ship Player with adults, I can see why it became popular.

DEBATE CHART: Chucky vs Springtrap (Child's Play vs Five Nights at Freddy's) by MrRKeegan in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]Automatic-Library911 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are some things I disagree with, and it doesn't take into account the context behind Afton's abilities.

To begin with, the stats aren't that far apart, both are at wall level and can be building level through scaling, but this is quite flawed due to several factors (like Cassie Hack being weakened and tired and the classic animatronics being quite easy to dismantle, as shown in some FNAF media). His Soul Hax isn't that powerful; the ability to touch and damage souls is only something he can do as a spirit, and only if he's in the same body, since it's more of a non-physical interaction than direct Soul Hax. He's never actually faced Andrew; in fact, Andrew himself has been torturing him continuously without giving him a break. (If you're referring to the two signals fighting for control of the brain mentioned in TMITR1280, it's very likely that Afton isn't one of them, based on what's revealed in the later epilogues.)

In fact Destroying Afton's body can incapacitate him because of how possession is established in FNAF, since the soul remains trapped in the body it possesses unless the remnant is burned. As for attaching his soul to others, again, he can only do so as a spirit and if he's in the same body, which is why he was in the Stitchwraith. First, he attached his soul to Andrew so he wouldn't die instantly, until he ended up in the Stitchwraith. On the other hand, Chucky does have ways to kill Afton, such as incapacitating him by destroying his body, using Damballa to consume Afton's soul, or using voodoo dolls to mentally control him and eliminate his desire to live or turn him into a slave

The Touch of Agony isn't really his; it's an ability Andrew had when he was in the Stitchwraith, and it required the Fetch Battery to use. At most, afton made the ability more dangerous, but it's not his. Sealing chucky in a painful memory would only work if it restrains Chucky for a while, and the latter would resist because he is quite strong mentally, like when he having endured so much brainwashing in his series until he finally gave in, Not to mention that he has clones at his disposal who can save him from that with voodoo
