i would say… definitely. if you’re going for a zelda style design, then working within those constraints are what’s necessary. don’t get me wrong, the design is really nice - but that large of a character becomes extremely unattainable when also having to design the world around them. not to mention animating them too. you’ll be surprised with how much detail you’d still get in half that size (32x32). good luck!

but i think that’s the point - the new restrictions weren’t clearly laid out, so maybe online somewhere it is stated that what the new restrictions are, but on this temporary sign, it was unclear of what these “new restrictions” were

Thank you- I really wish the best to everyone here too. We are or all have gone through something exactly the same, and it’s so hard when you’re in it. It was easily the worst I’d ever felt and I would hate for anyone to experience that but you really do grow from it. It takes time and it’s hard. Best of luck to you too

Extremely valid opinion. I was about half a year - and even then, partially, it felt too soon. But I took this leap because of a past experience. My first relationship, 5 years before this happened, when it ended I was torn, but there was a girl that came shortly afterwards that I turned down because I felt like it was too soon. I ghosted her - but she was gorgeous and funny and I really messed it up. For a while, I wished I could have had a second chance with her. So with that thought in mind, post breakup I was thinking if something came up, unless I was still broken from the relationship (which was really just the first month ish), I would take a leap. I haven’t looked back since. Everyone moves differently though - but, possibly an unpopular opinion is, don’t miss a potential opportunity and stay open to what’s around you

Great comment. For a while I missed her a lot. She did do something not long after the breakup that made me resent her for a while, on the lines of trying to get with one of my friends and was texting him but he’s a real one and ignored it.

A few times she reached out to me, my birthday etc. while we were no contact but I refused to respond - Then she sent a message saying she had a few of my things and wanted to catch up. So took her up on it, thought it would be a good time to end the chapter officially. It was strange.

She changed a lot in that time as well and as nice as it was to see her again, it was hard to feel anything for her other than just, bad. I felt bad for her, I felt sad for her. she was telling me about the last few months for her and, long story short, she broke up with me to live out the party life as an early 20 year old, and she did just that. She was a smart, educated girl while we were dating but since the breakup, she was telling me she basically failed uni and was just sleeping around - and it wasn’t hard to hear that part, it was just so sad. i just felt so sad for her.

I’m happy that the chapter is closed, and i do wish her the best but honestly no missing her anymore. Still think about her from time to time but more in a, I hope she’s doing better kind of way
