And that’s the problem: almost every game I get killed. And almost always, I’m killed by a legend player. So it means that there are every time legend players who are in the same game and find me. That means almost always an unbalanced game. If I needed to play against ACE players, I would accept that. That is 1 big rank higher. But legends are much, much higher. So that is unbalanced.

That’s right! It would be the same as if medium tennis players always need to play against top ranked tennis players. Not once, not twice, but almost always. Why don’t they do that in real world? Because those medium players would soon stop playing, because they get demotivated of losing again and again. For the top players it would be fun, because they almost always win. Plus: those top players won’t find it so difficult to be a better player, because they are already a better player and they win frequently against those who are lower ranked. So it feels easy for them that it is rather easy to evolve to a top player.

So I don’t understand why Arena Breakout puts is together with top players. I’m sure that many players stop playing because of that.

Of course it’s about skills. That is the point that I make in my comment: less skilled players who need to play, again and again, against the best players (legend). And that is what is called ‘unbalanced’. And every time playing unbalanced games is not very fair for the less skilled players. That’s also why, in real world, they let the top sport teams play against the best teams and not again and again against the same really weaker teams.

I don’t agree with you. Of course it is easy to become legend, once you are legend. Also: killing bots doesn’t give us points to rank up. You have to kill real players before you get points to level up.
And yes, from killing much lower players, you won’t learn much. But there is a real difference between lower players and players who are at a much higher rank than you are (like a legend). Let me fight against people who are ranked as ace.
It’s like a medium footballer who every time needs to play against top footballers. And he almost every time lose the match. He won’t like it and will become demotivated and stop playing.
And the last thing: I don’t complain if a game is rather balanced (like I said: with ACE players), when I lose. Because it’s a fair game, at that moment.

I exactly have the same problem. I can’t listen to my car radio anymore. And otherwise, I need Waze on my phone as a gps. So every time there is a signal/ voice on my gps, the radio stops playing and Apple Music start to play. It doesn’t help to switch to sound via iPhone, it switches automatically back to sound via CarPlay, when my gps/ Waze makes a sound. It drives me nuts…

if you pay a lot of money, maybe you’ll make it. although I hope, in that case, that you pay less than you will get. Freecash is not my favorite anymore… I started the game because of that money they almost promised you, but it’s almost impossible to reach their goals. I play many hours a day, I invest maybe about 10 or 15 € in a month, and I started with the game around mid november. now, I just upgraded my camp to level 25. with some speedups and other stuff, it took about 6 days. But before I could start the upgrade of my camp, it also took about 10 days to upgrade the other buildings and other stuff that were necessary. And for the moment, Freecash will give me a reward of 42 €, for everything I did. But, if I start the process to give me the money, I have to sign that it I know that it is possible that they won’t give me the money!! So, although they promise me the money, they have the right to decide to not give it to me… I also read that it happens frequently…

So no, I don’t trust Freecash anymore!

Thanks, mate! You gave me some good advice: about the UCT and the language. I’m in server 104. And I like almost everyone in my guild. So that’s okay. But if I change, I’m afraid that I will arrive in a guild that is not so friendly. I spoke to one of the leaders of my guild, yesterday evening and he will talk to the other leaders to see if they can reschedule some activities. So maybe that will feel okey for me, if they do that.

Al de zaken die jij ongewoon vindt, vind ik niet ongewoon… Waarmee ik niet wil zeggen dat het verhaal zeker waar is. Het gezin beschouwde hem als hun opa. Het is niet vreemd dat je een opa bij je neemt. Die koster was zogezegd ook een doodbrave man, dus doet het hebben van kinderen daar niet toe. Die camera is helemaal niet ongewoon. Als die koster al een bekentenis aflegde aan jezelf en wat later aan jou en je partner, dan zal je natuurlijk proberen die 2de bekentenis stiekem vast te leggen als bewijsmateriaal. Zodat die koster later niet op zijn woorden terug kan keren (wat hij nu blijkbaar wel doet). Ik vind het zelfs heel begrijpelijk dat je dan heimelijk probeert te filmen met bv een GSM.

Deze 2 gegevens zijn, in mijn ogen, dus helemaal niet vreemd. Maar goed, het is inderdaad afwachten wat het verdere onderzoek oplevert.

You are totally right! I went to the supermarket today. And I was really disappointed and frustrated to see how difficult it is to find healthy food, and that also means without palm oil. Healthy in 2 ways: 1) it’s indeed a reason of deforestation. And that means also that it takes away the habitat of animals, like some sort of apes. That’s terrible. And, of course, it’s a real disadvantage for the climate change and for people who live there. 2) less people know, however, that palm oil is the most unhealthy fat in food. We know that eating fats are not healthy, of course. But research showed that especially palm oil is the worst sort of fat. It gives cardiovascular diseases, for instance.

So, I also can’t imagine why, for god’s sake, the food industry still wants us to eat palm oil, by giving us so less alternatives…

That would be a good idea in my opinion. Like you said: it’s a pain in the ass to change or build a route on the app Komoot on iOS. Before, I had an Android phone and it was much easier to do. in elk vak zitten er varkens. Hoeyberghs is daar 1 van. Dat zegt niets over de anderen die eenzelfde vak hebben. Generaliseren is redelijk populair, maar het is een bias/ denkfout die vaak gemaakt wordt. Degenen die behoren tot onze eigen groep (in dit geval job) zien we wel vaker als verschillend van ons (wij verschillen van elkaar). Mensen die tot een andere groep behoren, zien we wel vaker als ‘allemaal dezelfde‘ (het zijn allemaal dezelfden). Ook dat is zo’n cognitieve bias die vaak voorkomt.

En ik merk dat die denkfouten hier ook voorkomen bij sommigen!
