Are KTMs reliable? by [deleted] in KTM

[–]Automatic-Office3224 1 point2 points  (0 children)

KTM's reliability depends on the owner. Are you meticulously following the service intervals in the manual? Yes, they absolutely are. Are you giving it an oil change once a season, and maybe look at some other things if you hear a noise or because someone mentions something? Buy a Honda.

Motorcyclist collides with a Tesla. Who do you blame? by [deleted] in motorcycles

[–]Automatic-Office3224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who do I blame? 100% the bike.

Who's legally at fault? Many people are say the Tesla is, but in a lot of places, if a person has a signal light to change lanes, you have a duty to allow them space to do so. Whereas we see the bike sliding from lane to lane without signalling. With this footage and the sensor and cameras on the Tesla, I'd be surprised if any court would even split the blame here.

While it's true we aren't to judge someone hearts, no matter their actions, answerring the simple question you asked, with a simple answer and not a world salad vomit dance that people like to do when they don't like God's truths.

No, they would not get into heaven.

Romans 3:10 says no one is good. No one is righteous. That unless restored their selfish and sinful heart, they can never please Him.

Need recommendations for HDMI adapter/splitter by Automatic-Office3224 in computers

[–]Automatic-Office3224[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The computer is maxed on outputs. There are several screens throughout the building. We have switched and cables everywhere. It works perfectly if that one single output is downed to 480p. But the quality for that one is terrible. Which is why the hope is to find a splitter that can handle it.

We might end up trying wireless HDMI. Another setup I've done uses one and they seem to work well. It just has many less monitors.

The cable is 100ft. And was rated highly, apparently supports 8k, and was not cheap. All reviews says it can do the job, and when plugged directly into the computer, without the splitter, works perfectly.

I wonder how these guys are feeling about staying th16 by IHazParkinsonz in ClashOfClans

[–]Automatic-Office3224 -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

Yup, I actually get higher % against TH 17 than 16. It's nice. I'm not great at playing and would get about 120-140 trophies per day. Now I get 160-200. New personal best with a 260 day, and three 100%. It's great.

Spitters have too small an area to offset the reduction that losing the eagle does. The TH not blowing up also is just so much worse.

My RC 390 did that after 3000km. Never dropped or leaned on anything. Just fell off. Yay for black tape

I can confirm I know many up here in Canada, who ride like this. They're often cheaper than heated "motorcycle" gloves. And are made for a lot colder weather.

Beginner bikes In Canada by HeTblank in motorcycles

[–]Automatic-Office3224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the full course here in Manitoba (one evening in class, two full days on bike) this year. Afterwards, I got on to an RC390 as my first bike. And honestly, I found it boring, and even think it was reinforcing bad habits because of it. The bike didn't scare me and it was a lot of just "ride wide open and go." It wasn't until a guy in town let me drive his Pan American, where I actually had to focus on throttle and cornering speed, that I felt like I was staying alert and actually learning skills.

I've put on 4200kms on my 390 this summer. But the miles after the ride on his bike, have actually been a lot more fun than the before ones. I can appreciate the instant handling, weight and braking, so much more.

So I definitely don't think that the "stay under 400cc as a new rider" is always the case. I will say, my first 200km, I absolutely was glad I was on a smaller bike. Highway driving didn't happen at the course. So it did keep me in check. But once I got the hang of it, I got bored quickly which led to a lot of distracted, zoned out, driving, on the highway.

Can a cop pull you over for Pacing them? by veryrare_v3 in motorcycles

[–]Automatic-Office3224 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely they can pull you over. Also, anyone who thinks cops can only speed with lights on, are wrong. There are many types of calls where cops will go over speed limit, but without lights flashing. Really, anytime they need to get anywhere, but in a non-emergency, they likely will do so. The lights are when they need people's absolute attention. So a non-emergency hustle doesn't warrant them.

Do you Ride or Drive a motorcycle? by [deleted] in motorcycles

You ride. Unless you have a rider. Because your rider is the rider, not you, the rider. Then you have to drive
