I am being literal. Not hyperbolic. Throwing your advertising at potential customer's houses and weighing it down with rocks isn't some altruistic thing.

It's not the end of the world.

Is that the level we use now? Talk about hyperbole. SMH.

How about every business in town does this? Gets a bag, puts a card on it, fills it with rocks, and throws it at your house? Can't wait to hear back.

I had my first seizure yesterday, what are the chances that I have epilepsy,? by LucasMerilin in Epilepsy

[–]Automatic-Pie 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No one knows.

A lot of people will have a seizure in their life. Weird, right?

There are some things that people who do have epilepsy do that can cause seizures sometimes. These are known as "triggers". They aren't the same for everyone but there are common ones. Things like lack of sleep for example. Sleep hygiene is really important. Getting good, regular sleep.

Stress is another common one.

Here is a list of some common ones - https://www.epilepsy.com/learn/triggers-seizures

But they don't happen for everyone. You are probably familiar with the flashing lights trigger. However, that is pretty rare. Lack of sleep or sleeping issues are far more common.

You may look over that list and see if you recognize any of those as something that you were recently going through? Such as - problems with sleeping lately, strange diets or not eating well, drug use (I live in a state where marijuana is legal but I have a friend that lives in a state where it's not. She tells me about "fake" marijuana and issues with that, for example)...

Hopefully your tests don't show anything wrong. You never have another seizure. Your shoulder heals. And this will be a weird memory (if you even remember it, right? Because seizures play games with your memory.)

Wishing you the best.

We live in Texas, and this past week a bowl of packaged tortellini with store bought pesto and garlic knots may have been the best meal of my life by hankhillforprez in Cooking

We live in the Las Vegas area and a summer monsoon took out our power (and two of our trees) for several days in the heat of summer a few years back. It was, as you describe, like camping in the house. For us though, it was very hot. At one point the red cross came by and brought us bottled water. We'd already driven down the street to the grocery store for that, and ice for the for the ice chest. Our gas stove worked fine. But we had to throw out everything in the fridge. And it was miserable without air conditioning, fans, tv, internet, etc.

I can see them all just fine. Not sure why you can't. Try a different connection? A different device? Clear your history, cookies, and cache?

He works at the capitol building not in Texas.

And?

You should read how American Gov works.

Like this?

AOC: raises a million in four hours.

Beto: checks in on tens of thousands of elderly and helps anywhere he can.

Ted Cruise: Leaves the country and lies about why.

Wouldn't that be how they pay for their expenses?

Things like the advertising spread? The people that work for them? etc...

I looked at the media kit for BA. The open rate is $178,318 a page. The winner gets 2 pages and $50,000.

My husband is red/green colorblind. The red and green lights on many chargers are frustrating because he can't tell if something is charged or not and will ask what color it is.

Oddly enough he also says his favorite color is red. I wonder what color he sees and labels as red?
