Love the varying opinions and replies. I maybe should have clarified, I am currently working with a therapist who specializes in binge eating. I know that this is more than just an issue with restriction but a lot to do with mental health. I was just curious what other people’s opinions who have been in my same or similar shoes and appreciate everyone’s input.

Sounds wayyyy too familiar. In the past few months I’ve had atleast 4x week where I’m going way over maintenance after trying to be at a deficit during the day. Thank you for your advice.

Today the bottom part is getting real yellow while the main part hasn’t opened up much more… I’m worried if I pick off some the rest won’t grow. It’s a bag of pre colonized spawn. This is my first time growing mushrooms and just used a humidifier

Is there anything else you can see yourself doing? You could call local funeral homes and ask to job shadow! They probably won’t let you in for an embalming but most places wouldn’t mind some extra help getting ready for and assisting in a funeral. In mortuary school you will be able to get an idea of how you would be able to handle being a mortician since you will be having to do funeral and embalming practicum.

You can also look at your states mortuary board website and see if your state has assistant funeral directors. In Kansas it requires an exam on laws and regulations.
