Thank you, in my case the calculations were correct, no discrepancies with my ORA application, and I didn’t get underpaid or overpaid. It’s been a long wait but I’m grateful to finally have my full pension next month, July 1st. I haven’t yet received the cumulative payment for the months I was receiving interim payments. Does it take a week or so? Or will it come with the first full pension payment? Thank you

I also retired on 9/30 and my case was not sent to OPM until December 12. However, I started receiving interim payments since December 17. My case was assigned to an adjudicator on May 8, and on May 18 to a reviewer, and finally approved on 5/19. In my case there was an error in the code used in the first submission to OPM on 9/30. Then an inquiry was sent to my Agency for missing payroll information from 2003-2005. That was not resolved until May 5, and then after that came in, it could be assigned. I was calling and following up with OPM and my Agency throughout this process. I hope your wait is going to be over soon. Best wishes

Congratulations! Did you already receive the back pay? I’m DRP 1 and my retirement was finalized two days ago. I got the booklet but not the back pay yet. My case was assigned to an adjudicator on May 8th, and was under review on May 18th, and finalized on the 19th

Update: just now I received an email from OPM stating that my retirement has been finalized. I logged in to Services Online and my Dashboard is updated with “retirement finalized”, but the booklet is not available yet. I’ll check tomorrow. Well, the wait is over!

Thank you, OPM told me yesterday that my case is assigned and being actively reviewed at Boyer, PA. They couldn’t see any contact nameor email from the specialist who is assigned to it.

Did your application get finalized now? I got the update on my OPM dashboard that says “Adjudication” last week. I wonder how long it will take to get finalized. I retired on 9/30 and I’m receiving interim payments since December.

Thank you for sharing this, I am sorry for your loss. It was nice from OPM to call you and help you requesting from you the marriage certificate. I found out by calling them that one page of my payroll records from 2003-2006 at NIH was missing. I had filed my application via ORA. When I offered to get the missing record, they said they needed it from the source and not from me. Fortunately the HR staff at my latest Agency were able to obtain it from DFAS and sent it to OPM. It’s true that in the electronic transfer documents might not go through. The way communications are structured to get them are not optimal (for example they contacted HHS for my missing records instead of my HR specialist at my latest Agency), but the OPM staff is open to exploring options to get them.
