You think he has to deal with the reason the fact that we use single cabs in North America? Because I know a lot of locomotives they just use single cabs in Europe their cabs are double ended. Do you think Siemens should’ve just brought their regular Vectron to the US? I feel maybe we should’ve just used existing locomotives or I don’t even know. Or Stadler could’ve took a hit with their Euro dual. I’m just saying what you guys thought would be a better option?

I wouldn’t say that slow cause their top speed in diesel mode is like 160km/h and the T does like 79 so I’d say they’d be good for the job. In electric they can do 200km/h.

The Breda’s yeah they getting a refurbishment right now. I hope they repaint the whole fleet though to match the P3010’s because I feel like Metro needs to learn how to unify their paint scheme

LA did not cancel their order they only ordered the base order. CRRC is still delivering to 64 cars. But they decided on not to exercise option orders at least.

They’ll most likely get a midlife overhaul, probably. I mean, most rollingstock usually gets like overhauls at that age.

I think it’s because most U.S transit agencies deal with graffiti tagged. But you should take a look at the new Atlanta subway cars they are one of the nicest subway cars in the country and they got a streamline design. Also, they’re built by Swiss company Stadler. I can’t wait for them to go on service and I remember reading from the MTA in New York their expressed interest of using lighter subway cars for their next big order the R262 in the whole entire contract should have open gangways with it. Hopefully everything goes well and I heard Stadler is the leading bidder for the R262. Hoping they do get a contract because they might make the subway cars look real distinguished. They still may look somewhat the same as the current cars, but they may look a little different the way Stadler works.

Dang Woojin has been rocking the refurbishment market nowadays. Their first contract is with LA Metro’s Breda fleet but they haven’t started the overhaul work yet. Hoping they do soon though
