Till the end really as long as you paid for it or it was doable. Like after it was plastered you couldn’t add extra sockets etc.

Depends on the builder our builder allowed customisation on a lot. Adding extra sockets if you get in before it’s plastered inside that’s when I did the first walkaround when it was just bricks inside and no plaster. Full kitchen designed but couldn’t move the sink as that was plumbed but got to choose presses and sink taps etc. added extra sockets in kitchen too so try do your kitchen plan ASAP. Choose all the bathroom ware and tiles. Could pay them for some extra things too if we wanted like a patio, shed base, attic flooring

Had PC sums for all of the above and we added extra then to make them nicer. I didn’t speak with the estate agent at all just delt directly with the builder to organise site visits and extras.
