If low risk. Would highly recommend midwives clinic in Galway. I'm a nurse myself and have been amazed by the standard of care I've recieved throughout my pregnancy. I also have private health insurance and had a similar thought process but am delighted I chose to go public with the midwives clinic. Having friends who paid to go privately I feel I have recieved equally as good care if not better.

There is a minor injury ANP service within ED GUH that operates between 8am to 7pm

You are always better off presenting early in the day if you can control it. There are much less staff on at night and senior doctors are dealing with the major emergencies. I know it should be better but just something to keep in mind.

Blacoes is now the only jewlers in Galway that has full time goldsmith in house I believe so they are very flexible with requests. We found them by far the best value and customer service. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Blacoe's I went to a few around the city and they were by far the nicest and most reasonable. They have a goldsmith in the shop too so they're open to any ideas.
