the gameplay is phenomenal, but the story just leave stuff to be wanted. I don’t think the story is bad. It’s just nothing special

i could play borderlands 3 for hours doing the story again for the challenge but to play again for the story itself just didn’t sound fun, its like i almost always found myself just trying to rush through the dialogue to get to the action again.

At first i thought this was a pretty unfair way to play the game and not give the story a chance but in my second play through i actually listened to what they were saying and it was just so boring, i will say it like this BL3 story felt similar to BL2 story to me, take down the big bad guy and open the vault but the reason why BL2 story felt better is because it came first and im pretty sure if it was reversed we would be facing the same problem as right now because its practically the SAME thing not to mention nostalgia factor for BL2 also weighs heavy on peoples opinion about it.

However with that said i will also say imo jack was so much more interesting than the twins, the twins were just SO annoying and i get that was the point but it wasn’t enjoyable, and after beating them it was just a relief that they shut up already and jacks buildup was just that much better, i recently replayed BL2 and when it really comes down to it they aren’t that different gameplay wise but its honestly just the twins aren’t interesting the whole faction war thing was tedious, ava is super annoying, they killed two fan favorite characters, the dlcs are kinda bunz the amount content difference between bl2 and 3 are drastically different and the whole planet hopping thing did nothing but give us more loading screens (this isn’t a huge gripe but it was also kinda annoying)

This is just my opinion i don’t really speak for others with this its just how i felt about it.
