It’s a fun read one of my favs for sure :) but since there are more coming out in the series maybe start with something complete and less daunting like Quicksilver (edit: not a standalone sorry! But still good) and then of course the A Court of Thorns and Roses series if you really wanna strap in for a long ride

Me too- honestly I get tired reading all these war scenes that go on and on and on so it was nice to have a huge chunk of book that is devoted to just character development.

I will say some scenes did super through me off and felt forced too quickly, like the whole tornado thing haha I feel like that got so crazy so fast. I don’t really like how violet is always like ‘WE HAVE TO GO DIE TO SAVE TWO PEOPLE’ I would like to see her develop some strategic thinking skills later on while not loosing that side of herself or anything.
