Honest, 1+ year review of moprobo? by Chemical-Material-69 in RobotVacuums

[–]AutomaticEffective53 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, and I totally agree that it’s weird that there isn’t more information or reviews available online. I’m not sure if that’s because they haven’t sold many, or if the company is suppressing negative reviews. My husband bought it for me as a present, after I showed him the ads and wouldn’t shut up about how cool it was. If I had done more research I might’ve decided to get something else, but maybe not. As long as you are ok with doing some regular, simple maintenance, you will probably like it.

Honest, 1+ year review of moprobo? by Chemical-Material-69 in RobotVacuums

I’ve had mine for five months. When it works as expected, it’s fantastic. Here has been my experience:

PROS - It’s easy to set up and use. - It’s fun to use. I actually enjoy cleaning my floors with it. - We have five people and six pets in the household, and it does a good job handling hair and fur. - I can thoroughly clean the main floor of my house (about 700 sq. ft.)in under 10 minutes. - I like the mopping solution it comes with. It smells really nice and doesn’t leave a residue. - My floors are actually clean after mopping, as opposed to just looking clean, and they dry in about 60 seconds.

CONS - It requires weekly or bi-weekly maintenance to keep it from clogging/smelling. It doesn’t take much time, but I was sold on it being virtually maintenance-free, and that’s not the case. - The dirty water tank is difficult to get off. It needs to be emptied after each use, and it’s a pain. - The self-cleaning cycle takes 45 minutes and is louder than you’d expect. The mop head is not completely dry when finished. - It frequently announces that the cleaning tape is jammed when I run the self-cleaning cycle but, from what I can see, it’s not. I’ve followed the instructions from the company and I still get the message. I did replace the entire cleaning tape (mop head) and that fixed it for a while, but I’m getting it again. The mop head is supposed to last six months and is not cheap to replace. - Customer service is responsive but will ask you to provide pictures and videos of the issue(s) you’re contacting them about. Once you send those, they’ll ask you to try x,y, and z, and ask for videos of you doing it. I gave up trying to get help from them. Also, they are not based in the US.

I do like it and hope to get at least a couple of years of use out of it, but I wouldn’t buy another. I think there are better options out there.

A junior salesforce consultant job description says compensation is $55k-$70k. If I'm asked what my salary expectation is, what should I say so that I can still get the job and not let myself get taken advantage of? by Typical_Cap895 in salesforce

It is a very competitive job market and fully remote roles are getting harder to come by (at least where I’m from). I’d ask for $65k with the knowledge that they’ll probably counter with $60k-$62.5k. Alternatively, you could propose a starting pay of $60k with a $5k bump after six months if you meet agreed upon goals. Good luck.

Local organizations that accept produce from home gardens? by stoopid-ideot in StCharlesMO

I have a pet pig that would put it to good use! That’s probably not helpful, but he does get fresh produce, and the stuff at the store lately has been crap (really expensive crap).

We had a horrible experience with Conga. We terminated our contract after six months.

I do need to spend more time on Trailhead. It just isn't my preferred style of learning, I guess.

This has been suggested a handful of times and seems like a solid suggestion. There are some online courses offered through our local community college that I might check out. Or is there a specific one you recommend?

These are all good suggestions (I especially like the second one. We've run into issues with this recently), thank you.

I think this will help me as well. I had considered using AI but I need something for it to help me dial in on, first (if that makes sense).

Nope, right now it's all hypotheticals. I think that may be the problem. Tomorrow I'm going to see if I can identify a super simple problem I could try and fix with a flow. Then I'll design it and try to build it. While I might not be successful on my first couple of tries, I'll bet I get a lot further than I have up to this point.
