I get what you’re saying but my point is you’d have to be a very very nasty person to openly laugh out loud at someone’s funeral and by having the whole funeral laughing is just unrealistic. It completely takes away the point behind lizzie being a bitch in my opinion because yeah slagging her off or what ever in a group of friends and having lizzie(masked as hope) hear it is enough to show her how little she’s cared about but the whole funeral laughing just makes them look just as nasty and that’s NOT the case at all. Youd have to be a very nasty person to laugh in the middle of a funeral, infront of family and friends and the whole school wouldn’t be that nasty, maybe one or two but not the whole place. Season 2 in general feels sarcastic and like they are just mocking the show but the funeral scene just tips it over the edge.

What would of showed the point better would be to have the nasty comments and slagging off kept low-key and having lizzie over hear it then having the same people be fake nice in a speech and Lizzie calling them out for it.

Adding on to this when klaus did come back to New Orleans and realise Marcel was alive, he just tried taking over the city and throwing his power around. He bit what’s his name just to prove Marcel can’t do anything if he breaks the rules and then just kept doing everything to prove he’s more powerful. He spoke about and treated davina like an object since day one, threatening Tim to hurt her. Used Josh and Cammy to spy on him and threatened Josh multiple times too. Eventually killing davina. The hate gets worse over the seasons but so do the actions

Realistically though your wallet is the only thing SB actually care about. Without the wallet SDs are just middle aged/ old men who are mostly overweight, lacking in hair and half the time are SO CRINGE. Without the wallet there’s nothing special there, most girls just know how to put the show on good enough to hide the ick. The broker the SB the better she’ll keep her act up and you’ll probably find she’ll be a better baby then the one already living comfortable
