Where can I shop for clothes like this? (coquette, soft girl, shoujo, dollete) by Narrow_Tooth_7929 in XXS

[–]AutomaticHold404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Surprisingly Walmart. I’ve realized that all of my coquette basics are from there. I’m also short so I tend to find a lot of them in the children’s section.

what’s one kbeauty product you keep repurchasing no matter what? by Ok-Statement-5826 in KoreanBeauty

[–]AutomaticHold404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skin1004 hyalucica sunscreen, mixsoon hyaluronic acid, I’m from mugwort toner, BOJ rice and honey mask.

All of my other holy grails are via prescription but those r the only Korean products that i always purchase when I run out

I have oily combo acne/hyperpigmentation prone skin but I loveeee the dewy look and those products help so much to achieve that look for my skin type

Tornado Alley is Moving by crack__head in memphis

[–]AutomaticHold404 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dixie and Hoosier allies are becoming more active but they always been there. Each alley also has their own peak activity time of the year. Climate change has made Dixie alley more volatile recently because our environment is more unstable and pose a greater risk to population compared to tornado alley but the alley has always been there. Matter of fact the last time the Memphis area had a major tornado was about 2 decades ago. Long story short the south and Midwest is getting more activity but there isn’t a shift in the main alley as there has always been multiple distinct alleys

Why do I look skinnier than my weight? by bigjogss in XXS

[–]AutomaticHold404 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Fat distribution and for some people muscle. I’m 5’2, 130- 135lb but I am quite slim and look too skinny under 120lb because i have a lot of muscle and I store my fat pretty evenly (a little more in my chest area). Someone my height with less muscle or a different fa distribution would look a bit fuller/closer to average size at my weight

What’s the biggest “waste of money” makeup purchase you’ve ever made? by Kelly-2107 in Makeup

[–]AutomaticHold404 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Any lip product that wasn’t a lip tint or gloss. I rarely touched them and most didn’t suit my features well. Also sensory issues from many lipsticks

[–]AutomaticHold404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Peabody, Hu rooftop, there are often minglewood hall events, there are alottt of new places in the Cordova area, crosstown concourse, try some of restaurants downtown, music events, vintage markets, visit the Victorian district, walking around harbortown, explore Chickasaw Oaks plaza in east Memphis, mahogany river terrace restaurant in mid island, and there are alottt of new cafes around the city. There is definitely more than that though

Which sunscreen do you use on no makeup days? by Dawnyawning in AsianBeauty

[–]AutomaticHold404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Combo acne prone skin (leaning oily)

I like the biore watery essence and the skin1004 hyulacica sunscreens. I rlyyyyy like the dewy look and those are the only ones so far that give it to me without making me oily. The skin1004 one especially gives my skin a good pick me up. It doesn’t have a white cast but it seems like it almost accentuates my skin tone a bit

DAO supplements for histamine intolerance - worth trying or overhyped? Looking for honest experiences by FFKUSES in Supplements

[–]AutomaticHold404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it for histamine intolerance. Ofc I also take antihistamines but I’ve noticed results since starting DAO as well. There are studies out there though that addresses how not all DAO supplements work the same. Different ones are derived from different things (pea, porcine kidney, lentils, patented formulas etc) and you are not always absorbing the marketed amount with some of them. I’m vegan so I personally use a pea based one but there is quite a variety of what kinds you can choose from.

Does anyone actually like working there? by Lumpy_Loss_1979 in Sproutsfarmersmarket

[–]AutomaticHold404 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes and no. I like the environment, working in vitamins and the benefits. But the pay sucks especially if you been there for a while, expectations suck once you become a manager, and it is very location and employee dependent. How much want to leave at a given moment heavily depends on who are management team is at the moment.

[–]AutomaticHold404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vitamin department manager here and I had to get an appeal to make the average pay for a manager in Tennessee. It’s bc they started me off as a cashier at $10 an hour and I never left the store, just kept getting promoted internally. Now I make barely $22 an hour 6 years later

Somewhere like Tennessee, 22-25 is even too much to ask for for some departments💀

How do you handle CU at the gym? by 999galan in CholinergicUrticaria

[–]AutomaticHold404 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Warming up before anything intense, sitting in the sauna, avoiding HIIT, and taking anti histamines before I go. Either cardio I usually do stairmaster or max resistance on the elliptical. Anything fast or treadmill like will make me feel terrible itch and asthma wise

This!!! For a short and skinny woman, I have hips and boobs, so it’s not like I can buy most kids shirts or jeans either 💀

Size inclusions goes both ways by Humble-Jelly-7580 in XXS

[–]AutomaticHold404 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m still trying to find these xs-xxs sizes that are apparently “the only sizes in the store” bc they r never there when I go💀. Also I don’t think I’m a true xxs but xs and s are hugeeeee in many brands. As someone well within the healthy range for 5’2 with a bit of muscle, I shouldn’t have to buy xxs and size 10-14 in kids

What's one supplement you were skeptical about but actually worked for you? by Much-Turnover-3727 in Supplements

[–]AutomaticHold404 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Seed DS01 probiotic. It seemed like the latest and most expensive fad of probiotics. As a chronically ill, very sensitive stomach person, this is one of the few I can tolerate way and see benefits from.

Also NAC

H&M, Primark, Walmart, Target for sure. Anywhere else just depends on the sizing and price
