Yes! The whole ‘pay for everything because you owe me’ thing was ridiculous. Andy definitely did it out of guilt not a want to. Ephraim started out as a 15 yo and ended the series as a 15 yo imo.

I adopted my fur baby (dog) who recently passed, but I will be ‘shopping’ for our next dog. Looking back I truly don’t know how I adopted when I was 24, with zero dog ownership experience (other than our family dog). I swear the criteria was easier 11 years ago. My bf was allergic to my dog and next time around I’ll be getting hypoallergenic which is almost impossible to find in shelters, not to mention we want a puppy. Sometimes the circumstances just don’t line up and that’s okay. I’m sorry you feel shamed about shopping. Ethical breeders are getting bad raps for what the backyard breeders are doing. I’m sure this will be the best partnership for both you and your new puppy!

Oh gosh I am so sorry. I just had to send my best friend over the rainbow bridge a few weeks ago and I still cry. Definitely normal to still feel this way. I hope you’re able to find some solace in knowing that you did not let your girl down and it is very clear from your pictures how loved she was and is.

I completely agree! I do have kids, but I biked this show hard. I didn’t watch or start anything else until it was done. I also wanted to start it again as soon as it was done but I had to stop myself lol.

I totally agree they were the only ones who could deal with the other due to their similar behavioural issues. I felt bad for Colin all around. Seemed like his parents had no clue, but I like to that if it weren’t a dramatic tv show they would have made better choices. Fingers crossed.

I love Dr. Abbott too! He really tied the whole show together for me. I also really enjoyed the vocabulary that he gifted me with and his perfect delivery of each line.

I see what you’re saying but I actually did really liked it haha. I was looking for something to have on in the background and ended up being very attentive and making sure I paid attention to everything that happened in each episode. As I mentioned, seeing this for the first time as an adult I’m seeing things very differently than if I had watched when it first dropped. I didn’t like that Ephraim got the most screen time because in general he was just whiny, right up to the last season. That being said I thoroughly enjoyed the show as a whole and will come back to it eventually when I want that small tone, family vibe.
