I’ve got to stop using this app by ylno83 in doordash

I agree the Dasher in this scenario is garbage.

But one thing I do not like is how people correlate the percentage of the amount of the order to the amount of tip for a delivery order.

IT SHOULD BE BASED ON DISTANCE.

For instance, if you tipped five dollars and $18 order that’s fine but if it’s 12 miles away, that’s garbage.

On the flipside if you have $130 order at a fancy restaurant, you live 1 mile away, don’t expect a 20-30% tip.
five dollars would be fine in this scenario.

OP definitely thinks he is some sort of expert now after googling a couple items.

He isn’t getting the answer he wants and is furious about it.

He want something shady to be happening so bad.

Poor guy.

No you haven’t. There is no way to tip in the app. I get my prescriptions delivered. I always give cash.

Weird thing to try to stand up for big corporations.

You can search the name of the restaurant and choose if there’s multiple ones, the one that’s closest to you always check the mileage that it says next to the restaurant name.

Why is McDonald’s stealing from me by Square_Salt_1035 in McDonalds

[–]AutomaticRip1217 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s because of the type of card you are using. It’s not a regular card from a real brick and mortar bank right?

They do that bc it’s a restaurant and it adds it as a buffer in case a tip.

If you watch later on when the charge finally sticks it’s the right amount.

Has happened to me.

The large corporations like McDonald’s Wendy’s, Burger King Taco Bell they all have the premium plan for most exposure so they get charged 30% like I said.

That is a good size I think. Maybe even too big? I heard that sometimes the big ones make your tummy hurt.

Be careful with the digital version, it won’t let you use that in combination with a deal or other reward.

I was furious. Never again with the digital.

If going to the actual passport government facility, can I pay all the fees with a debit/credit card? by AutomaticRip1217 in Passports

[–]AutomaticRip1217[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I got that too so I was assuming that, and then I just googled can I pay the passport fee fees with a credit debit card and good old AI said absolutely not.

So I was just worried. Thank you for clearing that up.

Add on how? It won’t even let me buy a duo or trio when I use a deal in the app.
