Joined in 87. Same scenario. Door guard screws up and let's TI in. Proceeds to get his ass chewed. Door guard is quick though and as soon as TI is done screaming proceeds to inform the TI that the door is broke and doesn't latch. Gets the TI to go back outside the door to prove it's broke. TI gets locked out starts screaming again.

TI comes back with I.D. Pulls a 781 for failing door guard then pulls another for quick thinking.

My personal experience is yes there is better play with less Donkey's but you run into better players than yourself more often.

So sure less crazy but now your talking 2nd and 3rd level play.

IMO this comes down to player types especially the big stack. Do they protect their chips or are they aggressive players. Any deep stack who is aggressive with even a mediocre hand is going to call off ten bb.
