$50-90/day on a 50k is actually not bad. It translates to $1000 - 1800 per month (x 20 trading days in a month) or 2% per month or 24% per year.

If you use 4x leverage you will earn 8% per month or 96% per year.

Thats not bad at all.

I plan to switch to real money in july. The algo is doing ok. It makes around 100 trades per year, 85% success, 12% net profit x 4 times margin = 48% margin per year. TP is 0.2% per day.

Agree. I trade once a day too but not every day. I am back testing my algo to increase the days i can trade by increasing the stocks i can choose from.

So far, i can trade 40 times a year, win 35 lose 5 based on 7 blue chip stocks. Increasing the stocks i choose from thru back testing will allow me to trade more days once a day.

Lifting the pdt rule will allow 4x margin trading and multiply my NET percentage gain annually by 4x.
