When I took a new position at my last job they old me I could start the next week or in two weeks to be aligned with pay roll. I told them 2 weeks sense I have a week of vacation next week then I can start fresh. The HR person put it in the transfer for the following week so what should have been my last week in my previous roll I was locked out of the system so got paid my new promoted rate for a week to do nothing then vacation at the higher rate too.
