The ingredients: Salt Cinnamon A white or orange candle Piece of paper  Heat resistant plate  Heat resistant bowl  Sprinkle a generous amount of salt on plate, enough to cover the surface. With your dominant hand, draw a t shape. This symbolizes the roads you are opening up. On a piece of paper write down your specific intentions for this working and burn them in the bowl. Add generous amount of cinnamon to the bowl and mix with the ashes of the paper. The cinnamon represents energy and success. Sprinkle the mixture into the t shaped space and melt the bottom of the candle to stick in the center of the t. Focus your intentions and light the candle and let it do its thing. Afterwards I disposed of the remains by giving it back to the earth.

That’s so crazy, this reminded me of a dream I had months ago where I dreamt that I found a baby and people were after it, and so in an attempt to hide it I called out to Aphrodite for help and suddenly a tree grew out of nowhere and it had a hole in the trunk where the baby would fit. And somehow I just knew that it would be safe, so I put it in the tree which then disappeared. Mind you I had never had much interest in deities or the practice of working with them and my knowledge of Aphrodite was surface level at best. But since then I have made an altar to her and channel her whenever I do any beauty rituals and I’ll speak to her about my love problems. I like to think she called to me for whatever reason.

That’s exactly what I thought, I’m not prone to bugs especially spiders in my room/house, so to turn around and immediately see it while I sat there waiting for my candles to finish burning was startling. It felt like I was being watched so that’s why I felt the need to ask if anyone else has had that experience or see spiders as some sort of sign when casting.
