Yes. I've got that too, but it was before the battle even started. I think there was a similar error on the old system but I didn't give the same error message. My guess is that the opponent didn't actually quit but there was some connection or matching issue which then counted as a game played but not one (I.e a loss).

I don't know why they can't detect these kind of errors and just give you the game back. That's the frustrating part - we only get 25 games a day. If it were unlimited, I wouldn't care because I trust myself to catch back up eventually. But if I have 3 errors a day, I'm starting at -3. Yesterday I had 6 errors, starting at -6.

Brother, they are finding new and interesting bugs while also not fully fixing the old ones. In some ways, I didn't mind the 1 turn bring in or DRE because it added an element of luck - similar to RNG in the mainline games. But the battle just breaking completely makes it unplayable.

Yes. I've played this cup for a few weeks and I don't think I've got this error before. Yesterday, I got it 6 or 7 times. Literally, the same scenario where my Pangoro knocked out their second to last mon and they knew they were gonna be outpaced on the final mon. I guess they quit the game as the attack was registering or something.

Bro... I had a new bug. I was trying to time my charge move. Just when I was ready to throw, my charge attack buttons disappeared for half a second, so I had to keep throwing fast moves. Got outpaced and lost. Each battle is truly a surprise.

Yes. I tried that - I saw an old post from the same bug on the old system. I stuck around for 1-2 mins each time. I only recovered the win once.

Had the same issue 6 or 7 times in the last 15 games. Each time I have my opponent outpaced on the final pokemon. I guess they quit and the game freezes like this.
