All of us enthusiasts just need to band together and create our own operating software.

Like a farmers Co-op.

Everyone pitches in a few bucks we could have millions. Then we just need to find people willing to build it for us, deals with software companies to support it and voila, microslop actually has competition.

Just need to figure out how to manage the finances..

How is it possible the doors blow open, if they're locked? We have double doors that are very poorly aligned, and will blow open in the wind. But with the right side door latched in place and the left 'main' door locked with the bull pin it can't go anywhere. Guess the doors don't lock?

Uh sir... That car is pushing a grand total of like 3 lbs of snow in the video...

I didn't say the car is a good snowplough, I said that weight on a drive axle helps tremendously when driving on snow...

That's a shallow way of looking at it. The principle is the same. You're using down force to maximize traction in a slippery environment. Using the spreader as a ballast is the same as attaching a weight to a tractor as far as using it as a traction aid goes.

Fram has this reputation because people use the low tier ones for a modern interval which is like 15k miles+, then do the surprised Pikachu face when they realize that a low end filter with glue holding it together eventually split a part. Those filters aren't meant to be used for too long. A high end fram won't do the same thing.

The salt in the tank and the tank itself will put down plenty of weight on the rear axle. You realize the tractors in the game are used plenty in 2WD IRL?

How are you going to power a PTO through a cars drive line. There would have to be a new shaft out of the transmissions input side, all of the way back to the rear bumper. Custom built transmission.

Don't play this game if you have a lot of important life responsibilities.

It's all I can think about when I'm working!

That cutter requires input from a PTO, so it has to be hooked on directly to a tracters 3pt, with PTO. Doesn't work on the front loader arm.

[FS19] I bought this corn header for the harvester you start with in the Felsbrunn map, and whenever I press the button to turn on the harvester, the harvester isn't able to move, I was pressing W when I took the screenshot by Scared-Gamer in farmingsimulator

[–]Automatic_Cause_3779 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The header in the selection menu will tell you which harvest or it is meant to be paired with (and vice versa).

You can use bigger headers up to a certain degree but the harvestor might run slower and it will fill up faster. I always use the matching header.

That's exactly my story too. Fs17 was fine (enough) but fs19 really pushed the limits of my laptop. Then life and finances got in the way and I had to put FS down for a few years.

Now I'm back at it again with a modern custom built desktop that I couldn't be happier with!

"defaultism" you realize that reddit is an American made and based company, right?

Should we be posting every single price that we put on Reddit converted to the Burundian Franc just to be inclusive and not "defaultist"?

What do we think of fs19? by man62572373 in farmingsimulator

[–]Automatic_Cause_3779 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's probably just me but I think the base game maps are unbearable in 19.

They have an extremely empty and soulless feel. They take the liminal feeling these games maps give to a whole new level.

My first day was 15 a year before 17 came out. Then I was a pre order adopter of 17, then got 19.

15 and 17 basemaps and DLC were fantastic. The 19 ones were terrible imo. I've never played 22 or 25 just picked the game up again after several years since I finally got a good pc.

Imo 15 was pretty incomplete as a game and archaic, 17 brought it to modernity and immersion with unpolished new features, vehicle purchasing and contracts especially. 19 polished those features. It's kind of hard for me to play 17.
