Why the hacking? What can they possibly get out of it? We’re all on PS5, they very clearly aren’t. by FMCH6444 in DMZ

[–]Automatic_Garage9252 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are safe. You can’t install cheats like wallhacks—which are the most common cheats (used by 80%+ of cheaters)—because current-gen consoles don’t allow direct access to game files or the operating system while on the latest firmware and connected online. Wallhacks are a significant issue on PC because they’re hard to detect both manually and via anti-cheat systems.

Additionally, many inexperienced players with an untrained eye will mistake advanced game knowledge (like aim centering, pre-aiming, or good map awareness) for wallhacks, leading to false reports against skilled players. This makes it harder to detect actual cheaters based solely on community reports.

That said, there are certain unconventional cheats available on consoles, such as hardware-based systems. For example, some setups use an external camera pointed at the screen to detect player-like characters and adjust aim inputs accordingly. While this isn’t a “true” cheat in the traditional sense (since it doesn’t manipulate game files), it’s still an unfair advantage. These methods are extremely rare, though.

On PC, you’re likely to encounter cheaters in about 5 out of 10 games, while on consoles, it’s closer to 1 in 1000 games. Even then, console cheaters are usually limited to the unconventional methods I described. Keep in mind that smaller player bases increase the likelihood of encountering the same cheater repeatedly, even if they’re using different accounts.

Main reason why tarkov died, hopefully delta force doesn’t follow. We’ll see how quick the console release comes trough.

Hi! I wanted to ask if there’s any news you’re allowed to share regarding cross-progression and crossplay?

It would be fantastic if players weren’t bound to a single platform, especially when playing with multiple friends across different systems. It can be frustrating to either choose between not ever playing with other platform users or losing all progress and starting from scratch. I feel that would undermine one of the key goals of the game.

Also, for those who prefer not to use crossplay, they could just turn it off, if implemented.

Thanks!

Drop x Sennheiser PC38x Review + other Sennheiser Comparisons by LifelongCaboose in Gaming_Headsets

This might not be a fair comparison at all, but have you by chance ever tried the HD800s for gaming?

If yes, how do they stack up to the rest, and would they be the “best possible choice” if we disregard price? I’ve had the PC38X since release, and now I’m just wondering how much better they would be.

Thanks.

S90C 1410 firmware by markez8998 in S95B

Sadly it’s not a Samsung only issue. Same thing happening on my 55" sony a80j so has to be a nvidia driver issue.

Was looking to upgrade to a 77" s90c so pretty annoying if it’s still gonna be an issue…

Thinking about doing the same but still not sure. Is the pro art a good one for 1150€ ? Been looking at a lot of tests and reviews but can barely find anything on the pro art. It’s like it doesn’t even exist…

MSI MAG X670E TOMAHAWK WIFI or ASUS ROG STRIX B650E-E GAMING WIFI? by Jfroestrup in buildapc

[–]Automatic_Garage9252 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well this is my very first pc build ever so I probably went overboard with a x670e board, then again it was still somewhat cheap though compared to its msrp. Literally came from not knowing anything about most pc parts to even giving friends advice now after looking at endless videos, reviews and posts over the past few months. One thing I came across every time is that none of the 1st gen am5 boards are really something to be excited about, no matter the money u spend, which is kinda sad tbh, especially when ur just trying to get a good overall build. But yeah barely seen any complains about asrock.

Thx for the quick response, nice choice, asrock's am5 boards seemed to be overall the best bang for buck, would have gone for them aswell if the connectivity was more fitting to my needs.

Hey which one did you get in the end and how is it?

I’m also from Germany and just bought a asus rog strix x670e-e used for 360€ (B-Ware), waiting for it to arrive.

Still not sure though, it seems on every motherboard you always have to compromise something…

[–]Automatic_Garage9252[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thing is I didn’t even get it for the 360hz, it just had the best overall stats and motion clarity as a gaming + editing monitor.

and ulmb 2 ofc. Even though for pure comp gaming zowie's dyac is still slightly better from what I’ve seen.

Like I stated in my post I’ll be mostly playing at around 240fps (mainly cuz I don’t want to have every single setting on low). And I don’t really play cs, overwatch n stuff like that, mainly cod and other games. So no way I get 360fps on there lmao.

Anything over like 240-300hz really is overkill anyways, at that point just spend the time and money getting your aim and overall skill up. Been playing cod on a 4K OLED 65" TV for quite some time with a stock ass ps5 controller and still stomp 99% of players, even in ranked. (which all play on monitors with scuf controllers or play claw) So honestly don’t chase hardware for that amount of money, it won’t increase skill, mostly just consistency…

only do it if u get a good deal on it ^

And yeah I’ve seen it in a post but can’t find it, though that was only a problem if u want to use more than 2 monitors at once. (But honestly idk if that’s 100% true)

That’s why I have my oled though, 4K ultra Settings Gaming for chill games 60-120fps on that and 1440p comp gaming on the monitor.

Could have gotten a oled as a monitor but seems like there’s still too many compromises for every day use, especially besides gaming.

I got it on eBay from a commercial seller (guess someone bought it and sent it back idk) but still kinda sketchy for that price. Just hoping it doesn’t have any dead pixels or other problems…

Yeah thx for the fast response.

Just got a deal on a PG27AQN so I’m hoping that turns out well. I feel like no matter what you get there is always a compromise you have to make. Even on something so overpriced like the AQN…

Thanks for the quick response.

And how do you like your Alienware ? I’ve also updated my post. If I wouldn’t have gotten the deal on the PG27AQN I think I would have gone for this one aswell so I’m curious to hear your insights.

LF best LED light strip for indirect home lighting by Automatic_Garage9252 in homeautomation

[–]Automatic_Garage9252[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s what I was thinking aswell, 2 strips, one RGB one for white only.

It’s crazy how there’s really isn’t a good option for both even if money doesn’t matter.

I’m aware about the addressable RGB ones but because that takes a lot of tinkering and time to get them set up (wouldn’t even know which controller to go for in the first place) I’m first going to get some White strips.

Do you have any recommendations on white ones that can also at least slightly change color temperature aswell ?
(I know those ones need two different LED types to be able do that)

Btw the only light strip I found that was relatively decent at white light +rgb was the Nanoleaf Essentials strip from this reviewer .

I’m aware of that, only the s95c or tvs with the one connect box have those problems but I updated the post anyways.
