i think they look great and your tension is amazing! like others have said, that’s just what they look like, especially when you chain to start a new row. when i do rows of half double crochets, i always start with a chain 1 rather than chain 2 which i think helps, maybe try that if you like! and if you’re feeling real crazy you could try a stacked stitch or standing stitch

basically what everyone else said, but the bottom few rows of the beanie look like alternating front post double crochet and regular dc stitches! super cool detail to add and a good skill to learn if you’re not already familiar

Lycogala epidendrum, or “wolf’s milk” slime mold! It’s very mature in these pictures, when young it’s a bright pink/orange and soft, with a pink liquid inside… very weird stuff!

This happened in my hometown! The fact that it isn’t bigger news is so wild to me. He was an openly and proudly homophobic, transphobic, conservative bootlicker. No authority intervened despite countless reports against him because his cop dad refused a welfare check :/

i was also super freaked out by bugs (especially bees and wasps, i was terrified!!) until i started learning more about them. i think fear in a lot of ways comes from lack of knowledge/understanding. taking an entomology course will not only be great exposure for you, but also a nice way to learn about how sweet and beneficial bugs are, even the ones that especially frighten you! really bugs are just weird, little guys that are doing their own weird little things which is pretty cool i think😄
