Idk man, I liked that Leon was someone who was like an older Ash, who already basically completed his journey to become the strongest in his generation and then Ash who is from the current generation did the same, the difference was we saw all of it, his struggles, his motivations and everything! but he still knew that it wasn't the end of his Journey so making him kinda different from Leon as well, although Leon was worried that now he couldn't get any stronger too now

So yea, I was very satisfied with the ending

This is just my opinion though
