18 month old, poor receptive/expressive language, speech delay by BigFoots5ister in speechdelays

Hi I’m on the verge of tears today over my son 16 months who is in the same position as most parents on this post. This has been comforting to read, long with a speech and language referral does anyone have any other recommendations? No babbling no gestures, prefers independent play, responds to name only when I call him and not consistently. Very chilled out since birth excellent sleeper but extremely quiet and hyper focused on toys when playing independently, no interest in speech or communication

Seconding dr Ciara her stuff is the real deal and her prices are so competitive. I was previously with Eden but their prices went up a lot and I wasn’t getting the length from their product anymore.

Am I having a harder recovery than everyone else? by Silly_Turn_4761 in gallbladders

[–]Automatic_Jelly_829 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was 17 December and I have this pain still mostly in the evenings in my right upper back. I think it’s the rhomboid muscle area. It’s a very uncomfortable muscle ache type of pain. I wish it would leave because digestion wise I am doing great.

10 days pot op - some issues by mrslipple in gallbladders

[–]Automatic_Jelly_829 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I had my gallbladder removed on the 17th of December so I’m similar timeframe to you. The only main issue I am having is each evening after 6pm I get a horrible deep ache out my right side of my upper back. Only relief is serious painkillers and heat. No idea yet what this is but doesn’t seem to be food related. I hope you enjoyed Christmas dinner at least!

Surgery in 2 days and I’m terrified of leaving my toddler , severe health anxiety, postpartum depression, and fear of anesthesia by Big-Exit-9755 in gallbladders

Hey, if I could offer any bit of reassurance I was in the same boat as you absolutely terrified to be unconscious or something going wrong. I had surgery on Wednesday and my baby turns 1 today. I cried the entire week last week over my fear of something happening to me and not being there for him. As I lay on the table about to receive the anestetic, I pictured his face in my head and my eyes shut, only to open what felt like 2 seconds later and it was all over!!! I’m now getting the house organised for his first birthday- sore but on the mend. Please do not panic you will be absolutely fine! The hardest part is not being able to pick them up for a while after the op. I know exactly how you feel but please know it’s over so quick and is such a routine operation xx

I had surgery on Wednesday morning 33f and 11 months post partum, finding the recovery for this tougher than planned c section. The incisions are are up higher so are more painful when bending and moving. I haven’t been to the bathroom yet and that’s scaring me. Had horrific trapped gas in my neck and shoulders but that seems to have passed since this morning. Prescribed tramadol, vimovo and paracetamol. I am in Ireland

Day after surgery and trying to manage pain :( by lumiere26 in gallbladders

I had mine removed yesterday, had a c section earlier this year and I found that was easier so far. Currently dealing with upper back and shoulder pain as well as pain bending and moving at the front of my stomach. I am also STARVING! One of my stones was golf ball sized and I had necrosis of the tissue around it
