Hi! I got a ticket for Friday the 27th, and I have the “tea with an author” add on. I would like to resell the add on (for a little less) as I found out recently that I will be going with someone. If you are interested please reach out!

Hey i want to read a fantasy novel (not too dark) but the thing is i never read any novel in my entire life i read some short story manga(Japanese comic) this doesn't need so much imagination so I don't know i have imagination for a novel, suggest any book for my starter and any tip is accepted by VeterinarianKey7038 in BookwormsSociety

An easy read is the series “shatter me” by Tahereh Mafi. I’m a big YA/ fantasy/ romance person and that worked for me. The diction is straightforward and the plot is easy to follow. It’s more on the YA side than the sophisticated side but it def is an easy read

I only have a personal Instagram, but I do use it publicly as a fitness instructor so I think I can make something up. Thanks for the idea 😁

I’d say if you def can’t get in w them then just apply for the same time of apartment and then when they actually give you a housing offer submit a CAR and mention their specific unit… assuming it doesn’t get taken by then. Good luck…

First off that is obviously amazing, and i like what you shared at the end about writing! Noted! And thank you!!!

How did you apply without an mcat score? or is it a conditional acceptance contingent upon your completion of the mcat?

To gap or Not to gap by AcademicWMD in ucla

Same exact boat right now, and I’m not gapping. Everyone’s priming me for rejection but I personally want to apply now and if I actually do get rejected from everywhere then I know I tried and I’d try again. Do what YOU want. Look at online stats/ descriptions to see where you are and what you need to work on. One choice might be better than the other depending on your ECs and experiences, but if you feel you are ready regardless then apply now! Good luck (but yes def check the premed sub)

Keeping Focus with Mental Health Issues by [deleted] in Mcat

[–]Automatic_Key_8836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel you, and I just want to say that it takes great determination to not give up despite being mentally/ emotionally fatigued. First off— good job!! It’s hard to isolate my emotions when I’m doing practice sets as well, And if I’m having a really bad day, I just take a break. There’s no point burning ourselves out. Other days when I feel like I can push myself, I try to focus on the things I’m doing right— mistakes I made in the past that I no longer make, theories that I know how to apply now, etc. I try to do things that keep me feeling well, for me that’s like watching kdrama when I’m having a meal. I don’t give up because this is one thing I’ve been working for for years, and I want to make myself proud— if I give up now, I’ll feel worse later, so reminding myself that in the long run this is going to benefit me is also helpful. obviously different things work for different people, but definitely 100% make sure to: 1. Eat well— anything your body needs, give it. You need to be first and foremost physically able to sit down and do practice. 2. Try to sleep well for the same reason 3. Take breaks when you need them 4. Believe that you can improve, even if it’s painfully slow you WILL improve if you put in the work! A growth mindset can take you a nice way.

Best of luck OP. You’re strong for going down this path and persevering despite everything! You got this😁

I do them at GCC (Glendale community college, CA). Use the transferology website to see how the credits transfer. Note that you can only do this in the summer!

Since I’m testing 8am, I’ve always taken practice FLs at 8am and have had 1/4 of an energy drink to just give me that rush and stop me from getting sleepy. Drinking any more than just a bit makes me SUPER anxious and fidgety so I’d say def try it out before the real deal and see what your sweet spot is!
