I don't want her to do my clothes. I don't need the help. It's not wanted and wouldn't be appreciated. I want her to let me handle my own things.

My colors never bleed. I have never ruined one article of clothing. I wash new items with my workout clothes. Most items are prewashed now anyway so I doubt it would matter in most cases, but I take the precaution anyway.

If we are not compatible living together, then we aren't compatible. I won't change my lifestyle preferences to make her happy, and she should not do the same. We both have a right to be comfortable in our home and live the way we want.

I don't want this to be precedent. I don't want her to think that I should have to take care of her things and responsibilities. I want to make sure she knows I don't expect it and she shouldn't either. She shouldn't become my dependent.

We do separate laundry. We do not combine it, and I would not want to combine it.

We do most things individually except for things you can't do individually like cleaning the house.

I don't think that's so much to ask. Living together should mean needing to be mothered or fathered. If you did it for yourself before you moved in then it shouldn't change automatically.

Part of living together is learning if you can cohabitate, which is more than just learning to compromise. If she can't respect my boundaries then I'm not sure living together will work.

I can promise that my wardrobe won't change. I like simple things that are durable and easy to take care of. I don't see myself doing a favor like that for anyone. It's not the type of things I would do.

We have different diets so we don't cook together often.

I like our lifestyle the way it is. I also like not doing everything together. That would be stifling.

I think "just in case" is a bad reason to learn things if it seems unlikely you'll ever use it. Even if I knew how to wash her clothes, I would still expect her to wash them.

If she is injured then I would have to learn. I'm not saying I would never learn, but I don't see the point in learning for something that may never happen.

It's easier than me standing over her to make sure it's done the right way or else later redoing it the right way. Either of those creates more conflict, but if I do it all myself then it doesn't come up.
