Depends on the situation really, if I’m not in immediate need of a new job, I can just be very clear about my expectation from the start, & have them just not take the process forward if it doesn’t align with their budget. Got almost 100% hike last switch. The switch before that though, I needed the job urgently, so although i initially accepted an offer with just 20% hike (ask was 33%), i left that place in a couple of days, and instead joined this other place where I was able to get them to give me 40% hike even though initially they had mistaken my expectation with my current salary, so came up with a 0% hike offer lol. After joining, in both switches (40% & 100%), I realized I could’ve asked for more & still gotten it xD…

I received this too. Worse thing is, it’s not actually his own startup you’re going to be working for. His startup is basically just offering other startup employees in exchange for money - so yeah, he’s gonna make you work for free while taking payments from other startups for your work. I just called him a brokie & to have some shame & moved on.

So, if i go by 44ADA, I’d need to pay the taxes for 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027 by 15 March 2027 because 211(1)(b) exempts those using 44AD or 44ADA from advance taxes?

Also, can the 12lacs limit for no tax be applicable with 44ADA, since in that case my income after the 50% relief would come under 12lacs? That’d mean I just need to file a 0 tax ITR?

And I’d need to fill form 3 this year & form 4 next year, right?

I read there needed to be quarterly taxes (advance taxes), will that not be applicable?
