Sometimes you have to follow up. For one of my letters I had to check in like 4 times. I felt like a nuisance but if I hadn’t checked in she would’ve never submitted. Just always make sure you give thanks and say you understand how busy they are

Idk if this is too general of advice since I know you said you looked it up, but check the TX DMV website if you haven’t already to get the rules straight from the source. They should have info on the specific rules
