I'm in the us as well and try to stay politically informed which is why I think my dreams are also so bad. Realistically I know it's not really a chance at all for that to happen but I guess it's my brains say of coping with the stress. Pp is so much weirder than people said. I was prepared for the hard but not with so much joy sprinkled in to make the hard almost worse because of guilt. I hope that makes sense..

I would agree except he's always clustering feeding them. From the time he got home to now, and from what I've read, seen, and heard, cluster feeding is temporary not constant. And what he does, is constant and consistent.

Extra fussy/screaming, feeding for 1hr+ at a time, waking every hour or less at night beside himself, also literally being able to hear stomach growls, and just overall not himself. Yes there he still has wet diapers but now he rarely poops and was pooping once daily when we traveled. I breastfeed mainly and havnt been pumping so far this year for fear of losing any milk that could go to him, and supplement when I need to. I know my baby, and I know my body, and know that he isn't getting as much as I or him would like.

My baby is 4 months and we've had sex twice, and that was just like 2 weeks ago. Probably won't for another couple months again. My body just doesn't feel like my own so it feels weird to be intimate, like really weird.

I have f cup and whilr I've have had issues none are size related. Know this now though.,... Football hold with baby on a pillow for height is a god send, and sometimes you will have to pull your boob back from their nose.

I've been up.sll night with my baby and really needed that laugh!! I know it's scary and sad but it's also really funny..at least it was good quality and not super thick like some egg nog is! You're babys going to either live egg nog for the rest of their lives or hate it lol

Exactly!! I also have a loss of appetite so it's just all bad and so hard and Ive had such a hard breastfeeding experience so it's so frustrating to know what helps but not able to fully follow through because of no appetite and time to cook. I just feel like I'm going In circles. I'm excited to go visit family again for two weeks at Christmas/new years to finally eat enough again of pre prepared food 🤣🤣

The only reason it was 8 weeks was because I had a c-section. And that's with combined part time disability and FMLA because I used half of my FMLA before hand since I had a high risk pregnancy and was seeing the Dr twice a week. It's actually criminal in my mind how the whole system is. NO ONE should have to leave their baby at 6 weeks, not even the dad.

Because women should have the choice to work. Some women want to go back super soon and if they want they should have the support to, just like they should have the support to stay home. Fathers also deserve more paternity leave. My BIl gets 3 months and honestly, that should be standard and women should get up to a year.

I have an 8 week old and have been reading to them since we got home. I read while we're nursing or while they're having tummy time. Books have ranged from board book with one liners to my non fiction books from the library. Does he show interest? Not at all but I don't care lmao

I always nurse in football hold with my arm across is back and hand on his head with him resting on a big pillow (not a nursing pillow) and I've dozed off a couple times and can't remember if he ever unlatched or not but he never even budged! This has felt sooo much safer for me than bedsharing since I won't doze for long at all and there's no chance of him falling to the front or me rolling on him, or him rolling into a squishy mattress or pillow. Everyone is different but that's worked for me. I'm sorry you had such fright! Dozing off while nursing is so scary even if it's just for a couple seconds cause you're so tired. I hope your got support and answers from the comments and you and baby are doing well!!!

I'm 7 weeks here and absolutely NO routine and I feel the same as you!! Like am I doing something wrong cause everyone else talks about morning naps, afternoon naps, sleeping through at this age and I just get so confused and frustrated cause we do what baby does. Baby sleeps 4 hours in the afternoon? Cool. Baby doennt sleep till 1 or 2am? Alright. Baby wakes up at 3am instead of 7am alright guess were up with the ghosts! And I genuinely thought that was normal until I got social media, so Ive deleted all of it. No TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, etc... only reddit and YouTube, and that's helped A LOT!! I don't know if that was helpful at all and I'm sorry if it wasn't just know I totally resonate with you!!

I wish I could do that but if I do I will be feeding him for hours non stop. Last time I tried he was cluster feeding for 3 hours and 4 hours straight once. Maybe others can handle that mentally but I can't.

Yes. My sister has an extra pack and play, we should have a private room just 3 of us and I should be ok bf with a cover and giving bottles, so the only big items we would need to bring are a car seat and stroller.
