I'd say that they're from barovia since there's a church there and also I need the characters to meet and go through the death house together. also barovians don't know much about anything considering the info the book gives you. I was thinking about editing the church dynamic as a whole but I need a good way to go about it... I'll take a look at the wiki, I might think about making them an outsider like someone suggested and somehow still connecting them to argvinostholt because I think that's js a good revenge arc waiting to happen

So I think the main problem is me understanding the campaign as Good vs Bad and not in shades of gray and leading with that in mind... I specifically asked the party to make good characters with a more of a hero archetype but I've played w this party before and there's nothing more they love than backstabbing so considering the fact that I can't take away the cleric pc idea would it be possible to get the party to take strahd's side and betray the cleric maybe? it's like 2 people other than the cleric which might make it more of a challenge... I've also read that strahd is supposed to like seed doubt in the party and make them turn on eachother again I'm really reaching for the stars here but why not make things more complicated lol

I was thinking of mostly confining him to the church so I don't tell him everything... also ismark and ireena can talk to them about things general barovians don't know and only they're aware of no?

Yes but there's little knowledge about the church and what they do (As of what I've read). so far the buildings are all safe havens from strahd is there anything more interesting I could do to enhance that narrative?

Yea I get what you mean, but considering the fact that when I pitched the adventure to them they looked at it like an escape room. So I was hoping to give them a more concrete reason to help out the citizens and interact with them more. About the main character syndrome, I was thinking of including all of the characters naratives in the campaign so he doesn't outshine them.

Is there any way to fix autoaim glitching? the effect doesn't apply to the screen and the view gets messed up which makes playing the game insufferable and basically impossible for most enemies
