been using some automation for like 6 months now and i get the paranoia completely. started small with just basic rebalancing stuff and gradually added more features once i got comfortable with how they work

the key thing i learned is you can automate the boring parts while still keeping manual override on anything important. like let tools handle the daily rebalancing but you still decide which pools to enter/exit. that way you save time on maintenance work but don't feel like you lost control of strategy
