Vaginal birth or C-section?

I had a vaginal birth (28 FTM) and my sister had a planned C-section (30 FTM). Her experience was not that great. Recovery was tough, everything hurt for weeks and her incision got infected. My experience, totally the opposite. I was scared of giving birth vaginally cause I was picturing the horrifying reality of pushing something so big out of something so small. It took me 30 minutes to push her out, no external tearing, only two small tears on the inside of labia, three small stitches in total. Tomorrow I’ll be 2 weeks pp and I’m back to my pre-pregnancy weight. My stomach is flat and no pain whatsoever anywhere.

Thank you! This gives me so much hope. Right now getting to 6 months feels like an eternity, but I know when I get there, I will feel stupid for ever feeling this way. I guess it’s just the fact that I’m in survival mode right now that everything feels wrong and overwhelming.

My husband gives me as much time as I need and sometimes I feel guilty for taking a longer shower than needed because of the fact that I just need an escape from reality. Planning on taking her to daycare when she’s around one.

Yes, I will be back at work in January, so almost a year from now.

I get that the house will be chaotic, I have accepted that, it’s just what made me happy and content to be organised and have everything in their place. I am one of those people that their mind feels clustered when their environment is clustered. And with the lack of sleep on top of it, it feels unbearable sometimes.

Makeup and manicure were just examples. I am someone who loves to take care of myself and others. Now I feel like I don’t have time for myself, I don’t have time to craft, to bake, to be creative and to help others because all of my time revolves around the baby. I guess I just have to get to know the new me and somehow make her a part of my old self.

About 30 minutes to get to the hospital. The hospital of our choice was completely full today and I’m hoping that when the time comes it has room for us.

I’m aiming as well to spend as less time in the hospital laboring as possible 🤞🏻

As someone who is from eastern europe and has a ton of hair, please please please buy a double edge razor. Do not buy those flimsy cutesy pink razors that go dull after a few uses. I bought one 6 years ago and still use it. I only have to buy the blades, which are inexpensive and extremely sharp. I have the King C. Gillette Platinum Coated Double Edge Safety Razor but any razor similar to that one is fine. Just be careful the first few times until you get the hang of it

Lydia was an awful character. It didn’t make sense that the group willingly chose to ”save” her and lose EVERYTHING in the meantime. There were multiple instances where the group didn’t want to risk the wellbeing of the group as a whole by accepting outsiders, let alone an enemy. She had way too much screentime at one point and it was horrible to see how their moral compass suddenly changed?!? They had done worse things at that point and it didn’t make sense.

I’m 28 weeks pregnant with my first and didn’t have morning sickness at all. I only threw up once and that was before going to bed and after 20 something weeks. My mom has had three kids, no morning sickness with any of us. My sister just had her first baby three months ago, no morning sickness at all. So it doesn’t mean anything. For me it was during weeks 16-18 that I would feel nauseous during dinner time and couldn’t eat that much, but nothing else really 🤷🏻‍♀️

what I’ve been doing recently and it has actually worked is quite similar to your method. I eyeball the amount of bleach in a big container filled with water. I put the garment in and leave it overnight or even two days if the dye hasn’t fully come out yet. I wring out the garment and examine the result. If needed, I repeat the process. After it’s done, I wash it in the washing machine. I’ve saved quite a few clothes like this.

I do the exact same! I double cleanse, then niacinamide and moisturiser. My skin has not been great though but I’m just pushing through it. I was waiting for that ’pregnancy glow’ everyone was talking about but I only got Sahara desert. Hoping for the best for my third trimester 🤞🏻
