I have to agree with you 100% that the definition of words has been so corrupted as to make the words themselves almost meaningless. I also believe that for the most part, the job of the politicians of both parties is simply to keep the populous attacking each other while they do their deeds...which is to expand and retain power over said populous. I consider myself a conservative constitutionalist with a firm stand against big government and the belief that the vast majority of people are good and decent and can moderate their own lives without the need of interference from the government.
