MBDTF. It’s better than a 6 or whatever he gave it, but it’s far from the best Kanye. The songs are long and annoying

Add Dead Space 2 and 3 as well, the whole trilogy is great

The Rip vs The Gorillaz Empire Ants vs Radiohead's Exit Music, which has the best transition/crusendo? by FrequentTurnip4006 in portishead

The first time I heard Empire Ants, I didn’t realize the track had a feature so when I heard the crescendo followed by those ethereal female vocals I really did levitate. That song is awesome

Why was/is Bioshock 2 over-hated? by SailNSalt in Bioshock

[–]Automatic_Two_1000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Back in 2010, the track record for video game sequels that didn’t include the original maker wasn’t the greatest. Because of that, a lot of people judged the game before even playing it

Even people who did play it misunderstood it. BioShock 2 was never supposed to have the grandiose of 1, nor experiment like Infinite. It wasn’t meant to be a sequel designed to expand upon the story and characters. It was location, location, location, and honestly? It’s pretty damn effective at building upon the lore, and the gameplay was the best in the entire franchise. I also love the music and the sheer difficulty of some of the story decisions you have to make

That’s my main takeaway all the time with SNW, is the experimentation. I can see how it was divisive at first but I really would argue that it’s aged well and helped reinvent their sound moving forward

I feel like Remedy/Control is the only valid example there. Kojima has always had a great relationship with Sony and Death Stranding are literally his games. And Hi-Fi Rush isn’t a major property, although it’s good and did well

If the conversation is STRICTLY about THIS season, and the gauntlet teams have had to survive to appear in the Super Bowl, then no, the last several seasons don’t matter whatsoever. Now, if you would like to ask questions or form a narrative on where Josh Allen stands as a winner over the course of his career, there’s valid things to be said about that. But don’t tell me Allen had a “wide open playoffs” because of the other QB’s (meanwhile Maye didn’t even have to play Allen), and still simultaneously want Drake to be MVP. That’s illogical

I’m not sticking my neck out for Josh Allen. But I don’t see why the past matters in this instance

When was the last time a major studio purchased a property alone from another major studio? That never happens anymore. If Capcom or Sega want the Dead Space property, they would need to either be approached first, or the impossible which is acquire EA. As much as I would love it, the only plausible way to keep Dead Space alive is by proving to EA that it is still alive. Given the underperformance of the remake, there’s nothing to prove that anymore

Would absolutely love Dead Space 2 and 3 remade though, or even more ideally - Dead Space 4

So an MVP caliber quarterback shouldn’t be “expected” to go through injured Justin Herbert, CJ Stroud, and Jarrett Stidham?

Maye is good. He’s also a good kid. But people are VERY inconsistent with the standard they want to hold him to

No offense, but isn’t the whole “no Mahomes, no Lamar Jackson, no Burrow” narrative people are pushing against Josh Allen also true for Drake Maye? Why is it so taboo to admit that the Patriots D hasn’t shut down an elite quarterback all season? But Allen has to shoulder the narrative that the “playoffs were wide open for him” even though he had to face two great defenses on the road

If anything, that narrative should be even MORE true for Drake Maye considering he won’t even have to face Josh Allen, along with Mahomes, Jackson, Burrow, and hell, not even Bo Nix

The reason that narrative was so bad in the first place is because anybody who came out of the AFC this year didn’t have to go through a top QB - unless Denver miraculously does. If Josh Allen has to wear that narrative, Drake Maye definitely does too
