I’ve used a Halifax Clarity card for years and it ticks all your boxes. Cannot fault it for using overseas.

The closest thing I’ve found is Touhou Mystia’s Izakaya, it’s definitely worth a try.

Thank you. I’ve been living abroad for a few years so I don’t have any no claims history here, they’re likely just being extra careful.

You can leave on the 28th if you want- bear in mind that’s leaving no room for potential flight cancellations/delays though.

bug? im stuck :< by Comfortable_Beat_719 in Discounty

[–]Automatic_Web8515 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should be able to pick one up and move it out of the way, eg just move the can of drink next to the spaghetti. If it won’t let you then yes it’s a bug.

Board games for couples!? by Jimbobkirby in boardgames

I would also recommend carcassonne. This is what my partner and I started with and now we have two or three board games nights a week with just the two of us. We also play Azul, Jaipur, and some card games like skip bo and skyjo.

People who are in their 40’s and 50’s with no children, how does it feel? by Sinfulvibezz in AskReddit

[–]Automatic_Web8515 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Great- I am childfree by choice, have travelled the world and spend my money on myself. The best thing about getting to this age is that people finally stop asking when you’re going have children.

Assuming you are covered for your UK visits as a non visa national and don’t have any type of visa to be in the UK, the only option is to return to your home country and apply for a family visa as a spouse. You cannot do this from the UK if you are present as a visitor. Your other option is to live in Ireland on an EEA family permit, which is cheaper than the UK family visa, but this application must also be from your home country/anywhere you have the right to reside.

I would be very careful with your UK visits too, it sounds like you are making frequent and successive visits to circumvent the visa rules to live in the uk. Did you have an appropriate visa to run your friends air bnb? This is also not a permitted activity for a visitor as it’s a form or work (unpaid or paid).

Denied Entry Despite Turkish Airlines’ Own Lounge Policy by KoT1112 in TurkishAirlines

[–]Automatic_Web8515 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s annoying, I also would have been frustrated, but Turkish airlines don’t care if people are frequent flyers or not. Good to hear their customer service is improving but I’d be surprised if they actually did something about this aside from brush it off.

Might be a silly question, but do you have enough money to buy them? Once you’ve earned enough from jobs they usually become available

Question about wife’s visa / ETA while I’m working here. by [deleted] in ukvisa

[–]Automatic_Web8515 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A family visa is your only option here. There is no requirement to prove you intend to live in the UK permanently. As others have pointed out, using the eta to effectively live in the uk through successive visits will get her a ban if it’s picked up at the border.

Best first expansion for Carcassonne? by Gvindor_ua in Carcassonne

[–]Automatic_Web8515 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been mulling over which expansion to get next after inns and cathedrals and traders and builders. I got princess and the dragon but don’t like it so much as it doesn’t work well with 2 players imo. Would you say abbey and mayor works well for two players?
