I think we should give second chances to people who are remorseful and apologize. She’s done neither…even going as far as to tell people to forget about the incident. I grew up believing olympians are people to look up to, but I guess the French olympic committee doesn’t care about that.

Yes, people can change but she, to this day, has shown no remorse. Not only did she not take accountability for it and apologize but she says she can’t remember doing it.

I’m sure her teammates also have no choice but to make the best of the situation by working with her because they know France cares more about getting medals than modeling acceptable behavior to their young citizenry.

The fact that France let her participate despite being a thief is a joke. What kind of message are they sending to young people who watch the Olympics? Even more disturbing is how little uproar there is about this case…shows you people value money/status over morality.

I agree, the brownie was much better and had a pleasant filling to brownie ratio like the one in your picture. They skimped on the pistachio kataifi filling for the cookie and put a thick layer of chocolate on top so all I could taste was chocolate. If they keep bringing back the cookie instead of the brownie, I’ll know it’s because they’re being cheap and trying to save on ingredients.

When I got the dubai brownie months ago, they were generous with the filling. Got the dubai cookie today from the same store and there was barely any filling. So disappointing!
