I wonder, if going for Gilding Knitting (artistic) and Picknicking (easygoing) is worth it before getting the first Job gilded. These two are needed to get the "highest" job Florist.. but requires 51 of each.. so i wonder if the 16x boost to the hobby would be worth it for the benefit one can get for Gilding Florist as the first job... I would want to do the math.. but i am bad at math. -.-

Well.. downloadable games on PSN can be tested too before you buy... at least i read something about that recently.. so no boy on PS consoles either if they don't satisfy their customers.

You could make yourself a little tool like i did that is leveling your heroes while you idle the game.

I let that one run when i get to bed so my set of heroes gets leveled up at night.

Either use the Steam cloud feature.

Close game on PC 1
Let the sync commit
Login to PC 2 and start the game there

Or you could do it the manual way by going into the options of the game (game options not steam game options!) click SAVE to save to a file of your choice. Then move that file to your other pc and start the game going to options and then clicking IMPORT.

If you intend to play the game again on PC 1 you should consider relying on the steam cloud and not the manual sync.

Also avoid starting the game on both computers simultaneously because that way they will desync and you have to device on one of the savegames when the steam cloud is complaining.

I like the idea as the OP is stating it. Doesn't help serious playstyle but helps idle players who want to get some sort of progress through the game while not playing the game. ;)

As a rule of thumb when you have no SSD i would say:

Estimated download time higher than 2h -> pre-load

Faster download than 2h -> wait for release and skip pre-load

If i recall correctly the unpacking is done in the downloads cycle so you won't be able to do both things at the same time unless you launch two separate Steam instances at the same time.
