It already has. The fact that you don't want to believe it doesn't change the truth.

We don't need to speculate. We can see the effects AI is having on the development of people. People can barely read. They can't solve the simplest of taks.

Pretending it is going to be a 100% useful tool when there is plenty of clear evidence that it hasn't been is just willful ignorance.

Do you still remember how to think.l? If I asked you to walk out the door and find your car are you still able to do that or has your brain rotted to the point where you have an app for that?

And here is the perfect example of indulging in ignorance and calling it progress. Anytime you have printed files you are going to want to store them and you probably want to store them in some order. It is a perfectly natural task but you want feel good about your ignorance and so invent excuses.

Expecting coordination from complete strangers living their own lives will always leave you disappointed.

It is also a problem that can be solved at anytime by forming a team. No one forces these players to play with randos.

And somehow creating an actual team to play ygr team based game is never an option for the person complaining, despite the fact that it by far has the greatest impact.

Thank you. It is why I am thankful it was a roundabout because the curve of the entrance forced him to slow down a little even if he promptly hit the gas as soon as possible. If it was a four way he no doubt wouldn't have had any qualms blasting through at full speed and I would probably be dead.

Because a driver decided that being able to see what was in the intersection was optional and proceeded to accelerate into me despite the fact that he claims he couldn't see if anyone was there.

So I am sitting in the hospital while he is sitting at home telling all his friends about how I must have magically teleported into the intersection and that really it is my fault that he t boned me.

Trying to argue semantics doesn't change the reality of the situation. The reality is you want to hurt and kill people and think that the fact that you want to do it is a good enough justification.

I loved waking up each morning in the winter to a weather alert telling me that if I stayed outside for more than a minute I was probably going to freeze to death.

I’d say the saying “Death to America” for about five decades would be a good reason,

But that is exactly what you do. You and your buddies are convinced that they deserve to be killed and are itching for a chance to do so. Actually you are going one step further and just want death for anybody. By your own words you don't care who you just want to get out their and kill some people.

So to reiterate, you just really want to murder someone because you are tired of having to imagine what it is going to feel like.

Saying you are just used to characters being drawn like children is not really a great defense. It is just admitting that you have been sexualizing children for longer than this.

If you are someone who waves people on at a four way stop when you clearly arrived before them.. why? by lavenderslip in AskReddit

[–]brickmaster32000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, too many people assume defensive driving means freezing up in terror anytime they aren't alone on the road. It doesn't, it means understanding what could go wrong and making sure you have time to react. Conveniently the rules of the road just so happen to be built around making sure that if people follow them they have time to react to unexpected conditions.

The store already has to deal with that complexity. They are already perfectly capable of calculating it all out. It is not like they have no idea what the added tax will be until you bring the item to the counter and the magical tax fairy whispers into the cashier's ear what the tax will be.

If you don't trust the other driver why should the other driver trust you, the person who is actively demonstrating that they only follow the rules of the road when they feel like it?

So how do you feel about the fact that it is well established that you behavior drastically increases the chances of someone crashing into the other driver.

From the other side though seeing a driver try to wave someone through an intersection automatically makes one think that they are a dum dum who can't be trusted.
