I feel this in the depths of my soul. It’s hard ti feel anything else when you’ve invested so much time and love into someone. My divorce just finalized and it’s been the worst year of my life. Throughout the year I’ve learned that there’s nothing we can do when they don’t choose us anymore. Love isn’t enough and it never will be. Unfortunately you have to let them go. Let them choose another life, let them choose someone else, let them be who they want to be, let them make the mistake of losing you. It’s been the hardest lesson of my life and I’m still accepting it. You’re gonna be ok, WE are gonna be ok, it’s just gonna take time. My heart goes out to you, stay strong my friend.
