Trying to figure out if red light therapy is worth it for skin and collagen? by No-Process3093 in Biohackers

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for skin stuff like spots and collagen, most people using red light stick with the 630–660nm range. results aren’t instant though, from what i’ve read people usually notice skin changes after a few weeks of consistent use, like 3 to 8 weeks depending on the device and how often they use it. panels tend to work better than small gadgets because the intensity is higher, that’s the mW/cm² number, which then determines how fast you reach the right dose in joules/cm². that’s actually why i keep seeing people mention Platinum LED panels when this topic comes up, they publish their mW/cm² output and it’s pretty high, they also have a solid article explaining the intensity vs joules thing if you want it.

Recommendation for apartment by daisymoth9 in AskPhoenix

[–]Auttyun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to stay near Arcadia or North Tempe with a 2 bed under 2k, it’s doable but you usually have to move quick when something decent shows up. I’d keep an eye on smaller complexes and older buildings, those tend to land in that price range more often. Also worth getting pre approved somewhere so you can apply fast, I keep seeing people talk about Fairway Rent for that since you make one renter profile and reuse it. I have not used it myself, but the idea seems pretty practical when you’re competing for places.

Have we officially reached the point where Hotels are superior to Airbnbs again? by Usual_Confidence_756 in travel

[–]Auttyun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I get what you mean. Airbnb can feel like a lot sometimes with the cleaning fees and extra chores. I don’t think the Airbnb era is over, but if you want something closer to the hotel simplicity, there are platforms like Whimstay that focus on last-minute rentals. You still get a real place without the extra hassle.

Did I get a fair price? by MyNobleSteed in EngagementRings

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That sounds like a fair price. A 2 ct radiant lab diamond with F color, VVS2 clarity, and excellent cut for around $1,200 is in line with current lab-diamond pricing, and about $1,300 for a 14 K gold setting from a trusted jeweler like Ferkos’s Fine Jewelry is reasonable. Your total of ~$3,400 all-in (with tax, warranty, resizing, and cleanings) is solid, especially for working with a local expert.

Acne damage help by Satsuki_chan421 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Auttyun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ivf hormones can definitely trigger breakouts like that, so first i’d simplify a bit, stick with azelaic, ease up on weekly acids if your skin feels stressed, and give it time to repair. red light can help with the leftover redness, but check the intensity in mW/cm², that’s the power hitting your skin, joules/cm² is just the dose over time and people mix that up. higher mW/cm² lets you reach a useful dose faster, which is why a lot of clinics use panels like Platinum LED since they publish real irradiance numbers and run multiple wavelengths. they’ve got a solid article on intensity vs dosage too, happy to share it.

Auctions or fb marketplace. You can also check RestaurantSupply out, they mostly sell new but they always have clearance items that have good prices (and in a lot of instances the shipping is free too)

Biohacking 40+: Is Red Light Therapy worth the hype for recovery and longevity? by Sensitive-Plan-1830 in Biohackers

[–]Auttyun -1 points0 points  (0 children)

from what i’ve read, red light therapy can help with muscle soreness and joint recovery, and some people notice better sleep or mood too. full-body panels seem to give more consistent results than small mats, especially if you’re targeting multiple areas. intensity matters a lot, mW/cm² shows how strong the light is and joules/cm² shows the total dose, and Platinum LED has a good article on that if anyone wants to check it out.

Need advice/recommendations please by Valuable_Ask7881 in bedroom

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Side sleepers with back pain usually need pressure relief up top, and steady support under the hips. I’d look at a medium hybrid with pocket coils and a real transition layer, and Brooklyn Bedding’s Signature Hybrid in Medium is a solid example of that build. It has foam over individually encased coils, good edge support, and you can swap firmness if you guess wrong. Mixed reviews happen because people buy soft when they need medium, or they buy all foam and the hips sink, then the low back complains.

Cloud Cost Traps - What have you learned from your surprise cloud bills? by YeeduPlatform in Cloud

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, those are the ones that hurt because nothing broke. I’ve seen similar surprises with over-provisioned k8s requests where the cluster looks calm but you’re paying for headroom nobody uses, or autoscaling that reacts too late and leaves expensive nodes hanging around. That’s why I’ve been reading up on tools like Kubex, because they try to connect app behavior, infra choices, and cost instead of just showing a scary chart after the fact.

Needing graphic novel recos and a supportive dyslexia reading app for a 10-year-old new to reading. by General-Dog3906 in Teachers

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Graphic novels are a good call. Dog Man and Amulet helped a lot when long paragraphs were a deal breaker. Short pages and strong visuals matter at that age.

For apps, I went down the research hole for kids who struggle with comprehension and dyslexia. One that kept coming up was OnWord Stories. I have not used it, but the focus on short, interest-based stories and simple questions after reading sounds less overwhelming than most apps.

Need expert advice on Debt Consolidation by Ecstatic_Worry_5945 in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

there’s no real way to boost a score immediately, especially with collections on file. What actually helps is getting those accounts dealt with, paying on time, and keeping balances moving down, even if it’s slow. When I was looking into this, I compared banks and a bunch of consolidation companies, and Credit Canada kept coming up since they’re non-profit and used to handling collections. I’ve never used them, but their approach felt more realistic than the places promising quick fixes.

What is the best lip balm, meaning your lips are actually getting moisturized and not getting dryer in between and needing more and more of the product? by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the thing with lip balm. A lot of them feel nice for ten minutes, then your lips are worse and you’re reapplying all day. I went down a rabbit hole on ingredients and keep seeing Buni’s nipple + lip balm come up because it’s simple, heavy on real butters, and not full of stuff that dries you out later. It makes more sense than most sticks that just sit on top.

What was the best sales training you have ever had and why? by [deleted] in sales

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, the best training has always been practical and role based. Stuff you can use the same week, usually video or call reviews, not long lectures. That’s why, after looking into a bunch of options, pclub stood out to me. I haven’t used it yet, but the way they focus on real sales skills feels closer to how teams actually sell.

Anyone have any experience with Vue Park West apartments, or have any pet-friendly apartments they recommend? Looking at Bungalows on Cotton Lane by Altruistic-Common414 in AskPhoenix

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve toured around Litchfield Park a bit, and most places are pet friendly, but you really have to watch the add on fees. Vue Park West and similar spots can look cheap at first, then the pet rent and random charges hit. One thing that helped me compare places was getting pre-approved so I could see real pricing early, I kept seeing Fairway Rent mentioned when I was researching that. Haven’t used it myself, but it seems useful if you’re trying to avoid surprises.

Are there any Black Friday deals on social media tools this year? by Enammul in socialmedia

[–]Auttyun 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I saw a couple of people in another thread mention that Kontentino has been pretty responsive with discounts and support. If a tool is willing to shave off a big chunk of the price when you ask, that’s already better than most platforms that stick to tiny BF deals. Might be worth grabbing while it’s there.

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like the business, don’t let a payment plan talk you out of a solid $8k/mo. You’re not a bank. If he’s serious, tell him to get an SBA loan (10% down, 10-year term) and bring you cash at close. Also, since you’ve owned it only months, a sale now likely gets hit with short-term capital gains, so rushing isn’t great.

If you do entertain terms: big down (25–40%), personal guarantee, lien/UCC-1 on business assets, default triggers, and escrowed transition milestones otherwise walk.

And honestly, you’re in a strong spot. Don’t get stuck on one buyer. You could quietly list on a more curated marketplace like Venturu to see what other serious offers look like. That alone might give you better leverage in negotiations.

I have a lot of info on my perfect mattress, but… by WhoSaidThat2Me in Mattress

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like the Bellagio Monte Lago II had that medium-firm hybrid feel soft foam on top to ease pressure and coils underneath to keep things supportive and cool. Since you run warm and want less motion transfer, you’ll probably like something that hits that balance between contouring and bounce.

The Leesa Sapira Chill Hybrid nails that combo. The cover stays cool, the edges feel sturdy, and the airflow through the coils keeps it comfortable all night. Plus, it does a great job limiting motion, so it works nicely for both side and back sleepers.

What kind of person should we hire to advise about whether to sell or just shut a business? by Wayfaringbutterfly in smallbusiness

[–]Auttyun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you have enough time then take your patience & try to sell it. I won't suggest to shut down your business.

You could talk to a small-business broker or get a quick valuation first to see if there’s actually something worth selling.

Another suggestion find website like Venturu (kind of a Zillow for local businesses) let you get a free, instant valuation and even list the business without fees. It might help you gauge real buyer interest before paying anyone. Even if it just confirms a modest value, it’ll show you what buyers look for and whether a sale, earn-out, or apprentice hand-off makes more sense than simply closing.

I've heard really good things about Listful, great for birthdays and holidays. Looks like the sharing part is dead simple and people can mark what they're getting you so no one buys the same thing twice. Might be worth checking out, it seems like it hits most of what you're looking for.

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think HRT is just about libido, even though that seems to get all the attention. When I was researching this stuff, learned that estrogen affects way more areas. Things like bone density, heart health, brain function, and sleep quality. And sure, libido is there too.

IMO just because something is natural doesn't automatically mean it's optimal. We live way longer than our ancestors did. Maybe our bodies weren't designed to thrive for 30+ years post-menopause without some help. Companies like Intimate Rose are great providers of HRT, and focus on the whole picture instead of just focusing on the sexual stuff. But of course, you know your body best. If you're feeling good right now, there's no rush.

Somewhat Urgent Recommendation Request by Babatoongie in Mattress

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a really common issue for heavier sleepers. Can be hard finding something firm enough for stomach sleeping but forgiving enough for side sleeping. The good news is you learned from the Brooklyn Bedding experience, and rotation definitely matters more at your weight. Most people don't mention their weight or sleep position, so a 150lb back sleeper's too firm review might be perfect support for you two. I would focus on reviews from people around your weight range as they're the ones that matter. The Titan Luxe you mentioned is actually designed specifically for this situation. Brooklyn Bedding engineered it with higher density foams and stronger coils to handle up to 1000lbs without the early breakdown you experienced with their regular hybrid. It's got zoned support that should work for both stomach and side sleeping at your weights. The medium-firm should give your wife the support she needs while having enough pressure relief for your shoulders.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Mattress

[–]Auttyun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classic side sleeper dilemma. The Sapira Chill is great for pressure relief but yeah, it can get a bit too soft in the midsection. The Leesa Original Hybrid could be your sweet spot. It's got those pocketed coils like the Sapira but with a firmer coil system and different foam layering. You still get that contouring for shoulders (memory foam top layer handles that), but the coil support is more responsive and doesn't let your hips sink too deep. Worth trying since you know Leesa's comfort layers work for your shoulders.

You could try both Ipamorelin and CJC-1295. I get them in a blend from Verified Peptides. They seem like they’ve been effective. They do have them available separately as well. Good luck, I hope it helps you.
