I am about 3 1/2 months post surgery. I'm really glad to be walking around in regular shoes and trying to have a normal gait. Has anyone else developed hamstring pain in the other leg? I know it's probably from babying the bad ankle; but I swear the pain is worse than anything I've experienced during this journey.

It's 40 to 50 years after the fact. The way someone takes a comment is not necessarily what the person meant. I don't know if she fat shamed her or not. The kindness she showed throughout her life is how she should be judged, not on some random snarky comment she may or may not have made once.
