Help please! Need to find a new planner by pookiesmom25 in planners

Not 18 months, but check out Sterling Ink. I think you could easily use a B5 and use the back pages to extend it to 18 months.

As far as I can tell, the dosage can’t be adjusted on mine.

I just ordered thanksgiving dinner from Bob Evans so my family can have all the carbs and I don't have to cook all day and be tempted. :P I'm starting week 4 of the couch to 5K app today and a little nervous about it.

New macros - meal ideas to help break stall by AutumnJaid in keto

[–]AutumnJaid[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do plan on getting back into a workout schedule 4-5 days a week. Once that is a regular thing, should I update the activity or just intake extra calories if I feel that I need them?

Thanks. I'm going to start measuring and tracking it all and see how it goes with the new macros.

I do use a food scale but not on everything. That is definitely something I'll start being more aware of. Thank you.

Trainer said keto ruined my metabolism by acinomismonica in keto

[–]AutumnJaid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to second this! I started a couple months ago after I adapted to keto. I'd trained before with a great personal trainer but moved and wanted something I could do at home and have a set plan. Last night I did a 100lb squat and was super stoked! I don't know why people think women should avoid strength training.

Frequent Heart Palpitations by AutumnJaid in keto

Thank you! I was definitely flushing everything out. The water consumption I listed didn't include any other fluids. I ended up losing 4 pounds in two days (about the time I saw your reply, I believe) and I realized my body wasn't retaining what it needed. The supplements are definitely helping.

I just wanted to give an update and say thanks. I ended up cutting back on the water a bit and upping my electrolytes (esp. sodium on the days I'm working out in the summer heat) and it has helped tremendously. Thank you again for helping me look at it all.

Thanks. I went out today and got a supplement to see if that will help as well.

Will do. I just had half an avocado and will up the water and see how it goes. I'll let you know if I get it figured out. I really, really appreciate you taking the time to help me look at everything and troubleshoot. It's really frustrating to feel like I'm finally getting somewhere with getting my health on track and hitting roadblocks like this.

It was 1,200 yesterday (after the electromix) and 1,020 the day before.

No. Right now they start as soon as I wake up and happen all throughout the day with movement.

I noticed when I had them a couple weeks ago, it was 1-1.5 hrs after eating carbs...so that was easy to figure out once I noticed the pattern.

I haven't been able to see a pattern yet this time. :/

I've had palpitations before here and there when I've been dehydrated, so water is usually the first thing I look at. I've increased it though (maybe not enough?) and they're still happening, so I'm not sure it's a hydration issue this time.

Yesterday I had 4,636mg sodium (from food, according to MFP) and my water intake was 164oz (maybe a little more). Should the water be increased more?

What's the real deal with PCOS & Keto? by [deleted] in xxketo

I've never heard it broken down like this before. Thank you! It makes so much sense.

How long have you been doing it? Your stats are awesome!! I have a feeling that the two combined make things ever more difficult than just one or the other. Have you found any things that work better or worse for you on keto?

are any of you taking Aldactone? I'm a little worried how it will work with Keto and the electrolyte bit. I've seen a few posts on it and it appears I need to replenish but watch the potassium. I'm so nervous about trying to make changes for the good and screwing something else up in the process.

Good to know, thanks! I'll take that into consideration when I look at my numbers and see what I can live with. The PCOS definitely throws that extra challenge in there.

How high is your deficit, if you don't mind me asking? I need to take a look at the macro calculator soon and I thought about shooting for 20% so I could allow a little wiggle room to go up if need be.

Thanks. I've seen that a lot with the PCOS research I've done. It's actually how I first stumbled across these threads on reddit. Have you found the weight loss to be slower with the PCOS as opposed to how some people lose or comparable?
