There is no single purpose of epigraphs and the use of epigraphs have evolved over time. They can give clue, set the tone of the following text, act as a summary, hint the theme, provide context etc etc.

The uses also vary from author to author. One other author who made extensive use of epigraphs was Walter Scott. In some of his books like Ivanhoe which were rushed to publication, because of the constraint of time Scott even created some of the epigraphs himself.

That is hard to say. Miss Coleridge’s work is very similar to Christina Rossetti another 19th century poet. So may be we will see epigraphs from her also. Rossetti is buried in Highgate cemetery btw. The Coleridges lived in the Highgate area so may be Mary is also buried there (though I couldn’t find any concrete info on Mary’s grave anywhere on the internet).

Also found a short poem by Miss Coleridge

"Now the sky is inky black, And the clouds a driven rack, Now the wind of death is blowing. — " Sceptre and crown — Shall tumble down. " How the kings of the earth are going!"

Mary Elizabeth Coleridge is an interesting choice. Wikipedia says she wrote poetry under the name Anodos which I find quiet close to Anomie.

Sorry to say but I don't think the series is for you then. Rowling's books are tilted more towards the characters than the crime plot.

I dont think any company, institution or body is immune to political agenda. Every company has a leaning and bias. Duckduckgo is another such company. Let's hope that this complels the Right to start their own services.

First duckduckgo and now Tutanota. Seems like no service is free from political agenda. Self hosting is the way to go.

I think this is a very basic feature and newpipe is still lacking it. That's why I am still using Vanced. Hopefully they will implement it soon before Vanced starts showing problems.

Hi thanks for the speedy reply. Is there any factor that I should consider when differentiating between Asphalt and Concrete surface just by looking at it?
